yesterday was pretty intense! i’m in kansas city and the tornado passed just north of us. i feel bad for the people in linwood who got their homes destroyed. 😿
I know it's a silly question, but what is it like living in Tornado Alley? I live in Virginia and we get tornados here from time to time but I've never felt threatened by them. But I think I'd be scared out of my mind living there with a constant fear of those things.
@@VegasViking420 I guess its something you just grew up with and are used to huh? The part of Virginia I grew up in is prone to flash flooding but mountainous so only two tornadoes in that county since 1950 have been documented. I live in the Tidewater area now and we have had some strong tornadoes here but still very rare.
Honestly, I lived in Kansas for 33 years and I maybe saw 3 twisters. Unless you just happen to be in the path of one, the likelihood of you seeing one are actually quite small. Unless you actively seek them out of course. Most tornadoes are small, short lived, and happen over open fields. Large, long-track ones like in the video above, don't happen nearly as often. Just as with all other natural disasters, have a plan in place just in case you find yourself in that situation. They are scary, no doubt, but paying attention and HEEDING THE WARNINGS may just save your life. Things can be replaced. People cannot.
I live in the uk and have one hurricane behind me its amazing for me to see these tornados but i dont think they are beautiful they kill people and ruin lives.
Since I was holed up in my basement after watching it come towards our home I appreciate the video, the tornado sirens that were " a little much" were nothing compared to being in town experiencing it. It is beautiful and strange and amazing, wish you had caught the several minutes low rumbling that I initially thought to be thunder ( it was wind from that beast), but you shot some great footage!
If you gonna record tornados..that kill ppl and ruin lives...you may want to stay quite or refrain from using words like awesome and all this hard work paid off.. most will understand what you are talking about but it comes across as very insensitive. Thank you for the work you do so we may watch.
How can you glorify a tornado and call it beautiful knowing someone may be loosing lots of precious property not to mention injuries or death??? It is NOT Beautiful!!!
Th destructive forces of nature are beautiful. Just because nature kills people doesn’t mean it isn’t beautiful. Tigers kill people and they’re beautiful.
What idiots!.... to say a tornado is cool and beautiful, it's just Ludacris. Those are people's homes, their lives, their families. I bet they wouldn't think it was so cool and beautiful if it was their family in the path of that tornado.
@@weatherchaser1166 how about being a man....and helping the people whos lives were devastated by this tragedy. I bet your home is safe and sound...self centered people make me sick
Nature is beautiful. Both the creative and destructive. Do you also think some of the worlds top predators like sharks and tigers aren’t beautiful because they kill people? Your reasoning is idiotic.
@@JustinLHopkins there is such thing as retraining ones self....especially in light of the heartache and destruction this caused. There's a time to practice logic and empathy for those that might be sensitive...and know when your video is going to b viewed by so many....and I don't think that is idiotic sir. He should have been more sensitive to keep his comment to himself....and I guess I'm an idiot...and proud of it! Nature is beautiful...I agree totally. But I wouldn't stand there while a shark was attacking a person...and claim it to b awesome or beautiful. Restraint....applies to the internet too. Have a good day👍
It is a beautiful storm. It's not beautiful what it does in populated areas. Waterfalls are beautiful. Waterfalls that are a part of floods in populated areas are not beautiful.
