This is one way and a bit more convenient and less time consuming and less costly than a damn using sheet pile and pour-in-place

I am in Livingston county . I don’t know why I have this in my suggested videos but I have not been to that marina or across either dam since the 2009 ice storm. Next time I am in grand rivers I will have to check it all out.

I believe this is the ramp at Kentucky Dam Village. That's on the Western shore of Kentucky Lake, not Land Between the Lakes. LBL is the land between Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley.

Intimidating

So the water drains back into the lake, and doesn't grow slippery bacteria on the ramp.

They’re angled slightly it’s hard to see

Here in the U.K. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a slipway this wide that isn’t for like a ferry! Part of this is maybe because a lot more boats are stored on the water, so there’s less likely to be a huge rush, and hence queue, at the start or end of the day if you can only launch one or two boats side by side.

Pour.....as in pour the concrete, or pour water.. Not a pore....as in the pores of your skin.

Concrete can and is poured under water all the time. They say it actually cures better under water.

Another way is to build a cofferdam

Yes, traditionally a coffer dam would be build and pumped out, but this method worked very well. The old ramp was broken uo and used as a base for the new ramp - considering the loads on the ramp that far in the water are very low, I don't see an issue - it was heavily reinforced so it will stay together as one big slab for decades.
