While still a top notch technical player, what sets Lari apart is her ability to build phrases and emotion in her playing. She always gives the listener a great sense of what she is trying to say with her songs. Something all musicians should strive for.

Lari might be the only guitarist that I could listen to through a whole album. Emotional ballads, gritty rock, jazz and brazilian influences. Such a great writer, and her playing is just unmatched. Probably my favorite player ever.

Amazing Lari, really interesting to hear the evolution of this track from the first time you posted it to it's final state. I absolutely love the finished version though to be honest I also loved the original version. Really great tune with your unmistakable melodic phrasing......... Very well done girl.

One of the most refreshing voices on guitar these days. All the tasty smoothness of grand masters like Carlton or Ritenour, with gorgeous, evocative melodies, highly developed - but never overdone - chops, clever hooks, original stylings, and genuine, outpouring charisma and joy. No wonder she's become so popular.

I used to play when I was a teenager. But life happened and I hadn't picked up a guitar for decades. I'm past 40 now and i held one for the first time since then. And this is the first song i learnt. Still haven't got all the parts right but I'll get there. Thank you Lari for this piece of music that is as beautiful asa your playing.

Vinnie is such a classic... i used to see him play in the 80's when he'd start a song with a fresh cigarette and his glasses on... three quarters of the way through, the cigarette would be gone and his glasses would be on the floor and he'd be covered in sweat... epic.

Let me just say… Lari has the chops, the feel and writing skills of all the male greats. She’s that good… I wish we would praise her accomplishments more and stop putting those other female guitarists in the same category as her. Nikki and Sophie’s of the world aren’t good enough to carry her guitar case. Let’s stop the simp behavior and give Lari her props.

I’m not being bad or trying to throw shade, but if Mimi or Nikki and Sophie were guys, they’d have ZERO career… their playing is fucking awful. Lari on the other hand could do G3 tour and hold her own without fail. She’s fucking dope and a great songwriter too. The melody in this song is on Satriani levels.

Lari is indeed another master of melody, just like Joe. I would put her in my top ten guitarists of all time without a second's hesitation.
