48 with a body brace on. That says it all......coldest, toughest man to ever play the game. You hate on Bird you're either ignorant asf or just a shade hater.
I’ve really enjoyed watched this series with you guys. Since this series is over it’s the perfect time for you all to react to “Magic Johnson and Larry Bird: A Courtship Of rivals.” You may want to split it into 2-4 parts as the video is an hour and a half. It’s the best documentary I’ve ever seen.
ISU in Terre Haute where Bird played college ball. There is a huge statue of him there. The parts of this video that show Bird , the other players and the moderator on stage was the weekend that statue was dedicated.
Wow that was an awesome video guys. It's just unbelievable how rare Larry Bird was. Epic. I love the story about his dad toughing it out with the black ankle to work all week and come back for the weekend. That's a badass man.
Bill Walton needs his own comedy hour, lol Edit: The end of this video makes you wonder about player impact. Any given player, replaced at their position by the worst player at that position. Who is the biggest loss for their team?
Larry said they ALL played like a bunch of women. I don't know why that's not included in this video. It was literally a minute or two after he said what you heard.
Growing up in Philadelphia during these NBA years and a 76ers fan, I despised Larry Bird and the Celtics; couldn't stand the Lakers either. The feelings were very real back then but I respected Bird. He could outright play ball.
You guys yak too much while the players are talking. How are you supposed to know what they’re saying about him if you’re talking over them? Up the video volume and lower your mic volume. Too much yelling.
Back brace, bad Achilles, bruised up hip and he goes for 48!!?? I mean seriously who does that?! The players today are a bunch of cream puffs who if they have a little toe injury they sit out for 2 weeks. They should be embarrassed.
