It's a very true, but also very, very, very old wisdom ; ). But every person has to really UNDERSTAND such things for themselves first, so you can give him props, he found that out by himself. edit: btw, what he says after that, is also too true. Damn, how could this cat find out all these things so quickly... He's brilliant !!!!!
Unfortunately many minds arent free anymore the masses are locked in a pyshcological prison that is holdig them in slavery black and and everyone else.just because the bankers who control us dont use violence anymore doesnt mean the masses are any less enslaved, theyeve learnt that when they use violence inevitably the people rise up because we know were enslaved so instead they put on fake smiles and pretend to be looking out for us and use deception and propoganda instead through there control of the media and as they said themsleves or at least james woolsey said "our disinformation programmr will be complete when everything the american oublic believes is false"
Impressed my azz. His sorry azz kept trying to lead Mike into saying anything to stir up some shit in our community. Damn talk show hosts and journalists have been doing this back to Jim Crow.
8:51 "You look at an eagle it will be like 300 feet in the air and it can see a field mouse and we cant see a field mouse that is 10 feet away from us, so if it can see a field mouse from u p there our eyes are not properly programmed for us to see god may be god is not meant for us to see but he is up there"- Mike Tyson Pearls of Wisdom. Simple analogy yet so much meaning in it.
This guy was so miss understood, he is highly intelligent but not given the opportunity to get it across in every day life , he was painted as a bad man start to finish
@@lskiller1903 His accuser was known for being a habitual liar and lured men to cry rape more than once. Mike was made an example of because he was literally a superstar of the time, and people wanted to see one held accountable for once during a time when celebrities got off scot free all the time... even if he wasn't guilty. Read more.
@@Newtination Well now I didn't realize just how misinformed I was. Me and all of the rest of the world are certainly glad you came along with the hidden story about ole Mikey. Hell he's a saint then that donated 400 million dollars to street whores and drug dealers in the hopes that they would become a staint just like himself.
Even at the young age of 27, Mike Tyson was already a wise man. After learning more about him the last few weeks, I have a great deal of respect and admiration for him. A true champion and a good person.
Mike was so serious, humble, and focused during that 95-96 period. I think he learned a lot in that period that helped him get through the darker things that would come
joey hernandez He "converted" to Islam whilst in prison for said rape, and afterwards he renounced it on many occasions. Most prisoners do this because they get special religious privileges with regard to food and personal "worship" time. They get top shelf halal meat, for example. Like, REALLY good meat. It all depends on the specific prison of course though. Not all will fall for it. This is why you hear about so many people becoming Muslims in prison. It's not some sort of great spiritual awakening or some other such bullshit. It's because they get hooked up BIG TIME if they play it right.
Im from the future Mike. In the year 2019 you'll be holding your own podcast called HOTBOXIN and you're a much happier person. By the way you laugh alot more also 😎🙌
What a beautiful soul... I don't really care if he did it or not since that is not the point here... just watching Tyson in this clip was heartwarming.
Well said. Until I started watching his interviews i didn't realise how much of a nice guy he his it seems to me like don king made him go off the rails
I always thought that Mike Tyson was or is an intelligent person, but after hearing this interview, I realized how much more intelligent he really is. He said some really deep stuff. The scenario he gave at 8:52 was mind-blowing! that was deep. I never thought of it like that before.
no, and fuck you, you hoodlum, for suggesting that. that's all you people got. "racism this, racism that!". nothing new. plenty of intelligent black people, but mike is not one of them, except for in the ring
This is why they only liked to interview Mike Tyson when he was angry because calm mike had intellect when they only wanted the world to know a monster
Mike Tyson is a very intelligent man, and regardless of whether or not he had an education or a sufficient education prior to his phenomenal boxing career, he had to have been a deep and creative thinker to have achieved what he did achieve, and i just feel in this interview that he was very articulate
Man, people always perceive Mike as an unintelligent beast that only knows the mechanisms behind fighting, harming, and being violent - but, an interview such as this one really puts his beautiful mind and way with words on display. He truly has a lot of depth, a great amount of knowledge, and the ability to express it in an eloquent manner. I wish that the entire World could see the truth of him.
Meine Ehre Heißt Treue That was the way Cus raised him ,trained him, and taught him..... not only did they train in the gym, he trained him at home by watching endless hours of tape of old fighters
Larry: "Do you miss bonding, touching, holding?" Mike: "Everytime I was in that situation I had no other significance but to bond. After that it was emptiness, so what's the purpose of thinking about it. It would be that same as being in prison if there was no actual feelings there."
Mike Tyson was a big hearted, caring, loving person. The people around him ruined his life and when I see how happy he is now....I feel so good to see him like that.
Just his to show the intelligence . and emotional maturity that Mike has always had. Continuously Larry King tries to trick Mike into giving shocking answers by asking provocative questions to cause outrage. Despite this Mike takes the conversation to a deeper level every time quoting playwrights etc. Well done Mike genuine and honest man overcome sneaky and bitter men every time. Iron Mike is the man 💯💯💯
Mike made you a believer in front of the world, no one in prison would of deared tested Mike at that time, so he was able to be gentle because he wasn't the average new comer to prison
Mike in this interview, shows himself to be a thinker. He shows a deeper side; a philosophical side and shows that there is a real person behind the hard man exterior. I really liked this interview.
So many fascinating quotes. ( We must distrust each other to prevent betrayal ). Complete honesty. Some of Mikes best years were taken away in his prime as was Ali. Truly one of the greatest.
Mike shows his tremendous intelligence here as well as showing humility and inner peace.I only look here at a child trapped in the body of a man who needs help and protection. God bless you Mike
Wow....listen to interview with closed eyes. Mike is so humble, it's hard to believe how deeply he thinks of life, I thought he was just the best boxer, but he is way more than that
Larry was definitely caught off guard by how intelligent mike was. Ignore the lisp and listen to his vocabulary, superb, and his ideology is great too.
@Écrivain I’m pretty sure I thought this was the first time Larry interviewed Mike, but feel free to prove me wrong. And no, I wasn’t caught off guard by this old ass clip, I’ve known Mike to be an intelligent guy from numerous other interviews waaaay before I saw this one. Well aware of his wisdom. Yours, not so much.
Something about him makes me feel sad...there's a lot of heartbreak under the surface. He doesn't answer questions directly. He's been screwed over a lot.
So much respect for this man just everything he has been through he persevered and today is a beautiful human being god bless u mike much love and respect from Canada 🇨🇦
Tyson was waaaay underated. People don't understand that he loved his job because it was his opportunity to secure his way to freedom and make a future. He is very soft spoken and insightful showing an accurate and deep understanding of people and the world around him. Of course everybody wanted a part of that and he cant trust noone expect himself. Clever man- bless his heart
I'm not sure the last time I've heard so many enlightening things said off the cuff. The fact that it's Mike Tyson in his 20's has also caught me off guard. I'm a little bit different of a person after watching this.
1994 and this guy says "I was living a gay life" and actually meant it in the traditional sense. You really have to feel for him because he's so reflective and such a thinker, but out of touch in so many ways. He really, as he himself put it, didn't know how to act and ultimately find his place and a sense of self security for so many years.
Im so glad for Mike that he survived and came through all his dark times ... i think Fatherhood has changed him a lot .. he's a good man . look past the fact that he was an warrior and a wild animal in the ring ..hes also has a gentle side to him
We can never be absolutely 100% sure, but yeah hes certainly got me convinced. Hes just too consistently a good quality of human being.....I dont believe he could possibly allow such behaviour.....Put this aside, Ive never caught Tyson bullshitting us....never hesitates to be real, regardless of how unappealing reality is. I have read, that woman also falsely accused another man of rape.
I just watched this interview and I'm surprised at how thoughtful and clear minded Tyson was at the time. How come he said and did all those stupid things when he left prison? It's fascinating and sad.
Something i remembered through listening to Mike speak is how much your intelligence increases in jail . Your not caught up in all the things the powers that be want you to be caught up with be it sport or whats on tv or what someone famous is or isnt doing ...you actually have the time to get to know your own self better ... if anybody has seen any of the hotbox interviews with Mike its like hes only using half his brain when he speaks compared to how much thought and intelligence he gives to his words in this interview ...i would love for Mike to watch this interview again to see how connected he was with himself ... i remember being like this at being able to sit there and see shit in slow motion its crazy ...your sitting there and your listening to people speak to you but its like you can read their minds ...know what theyre thinking and why theyre saying what theyre saying ... its difficult to describe
i dont know why people hate on him for these things and call him an idiot or just an animal. He actually is moderately intelligent based from what i can see in this interview or other interviews. I can guarantee know one here knows him personally, so why do you think you're at the point where you can judge him. Just because you think certain ways about a dude, doesn't make what you think true. so just stop with the shit talking or racist comments because it's just embarrassing
Tides (Slowgurt) Considering his background and the fact that he had no formal education I think he is incredibly articulate and and wise.. He is in no way a dummy people are jealous and racist and mean to speak so bad about him.
this right here is an early glimpse of the Mike we know today,...he was always a smart guy,. Just needed the right people to bring out the best in him...I guess we all do
