@@itomba I don't have a problem myself really, just that I've seen where an interview would start out innocent enough, like discussing a recent movie, then out of nowhere the prison subject comes up and before you know it the interview got cut short, by Mike. It seems he gives them the benefit of the doubt most times, but when they crossed the line by being too pushy, too personal, for too long about something sensitive to him like his conviction, he reacts.

Honestly after speaking with lots of CO'S when I was inside they all kind of said a similar thing. They honestly think it is their job to punish us! They don't realize they are just there for our safety just like the police are supposed to be here for safety. They don't understand that our punishment was simply to be away from society for a period of time. Correctional officers and police seem to have the same mindset and those lines of work seem to attract the same type of person. Not all of them are like that but I would say 90% + like always the problem comes from the top down. It's what they are taught and they are more than happy to follow through with orders

I loved Mr. Tyson as a fighter, never met or knew him as a human being. With that said, the ability to see yourself, and express yourself this honestly is the key to life. Starting from zero leaves so much about the world to learn. It leaves many of us while tough and fighting on the outside, no more than a scared kid inside. That scared kid does and thinks a lot of crazy stuff that defies any real logic. Mr. Tyson just seems to have come so full circle, I hope to be able to do so as well as he has. Very few people that I love the soul of having never met, Mr. Tyson is one of those souls.

Mike Tyson said he was molested as a child. He was being interviewed and he expressed it on a RU-vid video a few years ago or longer. I didn't know that. There is no telling what that man went through.

I worked at Plainfield correctional Facility (PCF) shortly after Tyson left. While he was in they changed the name of the prison from Indiana Youth Center to PCF. There were too many media questions as to why Tyson would be sent to a Youth Center. There were several first hand accounts that I heard of Mike receiving special treatment while he was held there. He was given his own prison cell alone in a two person cell. He was given an expanded visitor's list of people who could visit him and allowed to go to visitation more frequently than the other inmates. He received loosely supervised visits from females (believed to be conjugal visits) not allowed to other inmates. His prison cell was not allowed to be searched by the correctional staff (rumored to have a cell phone inside). Prison staff members in a position to ease his time in were often seen driving in vehicles way above their pay scale. I did not see this first hand because he left months prior to me working there but I did hear it from several different coworkers that all had similar info. I have no axe to grind here. Mike did his time and I wish him luck. Just thought someone may want to know how different prison life is for the rich and famous.

What if cus lived 10 more years, what if Tyson never met "the Snake" Don King, what if he actually had a good loving relationship with Robin. Tyson is by far the most famous and even at his age people would still pay to see him box. He has influenced the average person and even pro boxers in his prime. He was chosen BY THE PEOPLE as "The baddest man on the planet" "The people's champ".

You overestimate his abilities. The reality is that a decent high school wrestler would take him down. A D1 collegiate wrestler would maul him. I know you will likely comment back and argue with me, but really stop to think about it before you do. A good wrestler would shoot low on Mike, and if Mike can't land that one perfect knockout shot, he's gonna get picked up and slammed on his head. And I don't care how hard Tyson can punch. No one on this planet can punch harder than getting slammed on the pavement. Don't mess with good wrestlers. They are extremely hard to deal with.

Mike was in jail in his prime. This was way before the UFC days. I know about gnp. (Mark Coleman is the father of GNP and a good wrestler.. then Mark Kerr, Randleman, and other wrestlers he was close to were successful with GNP.) This was the great PrideFC days Those guys in jail when Mike was there probably weren't wrestlers and ufc wasn't even a thing back then. People didnt have the knowledge of how to fight a boxer as dominant as Mike.
