Mystic King my god you are stupid why would you just assume something like that ask Charlie boy he will be pissed that he got fans thinking he’s taking in 80k 😭 all he gets are donations FROM US!!
News flash. Just because it is an older part of town does not make it the worst hood. I have lived in Vegas for almost 40 years and am familiar with many of these hoods and most of them are good places to be.
@Moto GP that's why they have bars on the windows. Where I come from bars are not on the windows. So this tells me it's not a good neighborhood. I would say you're used to seeing these types of neighborhoods so it's normal for you.
@Moto GP wow how mature are you? Not very. Instead of yelling at me you could have responded with a more intelligent answer. I don't live in the desert and I am most definitely not a loser. You on the other hand sound like a moron. And now that I think about your comment makes no sense.
As a person that has lived in Vegas for 40 yrs can tell you there are worse parts of Vegas than what this video shows. I recognized all this and didn't even see where it's where it's bad in this video. I didn't even see North Town. Some of these places especially in the beginning are heavy drug areas though.
That was mostly the old downtown areas. There are plenty of police substations around and that keeps things fairly quiet. He didn't go to the real scary areas for sure.
The price of real estate is about to skyrocket after the Raiders come to town, good thing we own property. Used to be, you could make $30/hour(tips included) and pay $900/month for a house in the suburbs. Those days are dead
Tamas Barany .....tam those were storage buildings. When you dont pay the rent.......they take your property cause the landlord put in there and cause you cant pay the storage either......they take ownership of your property.
@Agustin DeJesus, no those are apartments. The ground floor ones have bars on the windows so no one can break in. Vegas has some bad ‘hoods, a lot of them right off the Strip.
I’m surprised you didn’t go around the Neon Museum and Cashman Field area. The amount of homeless is terrifying. Easily in the hundreds. Like a smaller version of Skid Row in LA.
Homeless people dont really fuck wit nobody tho. Never had an issue with a homeless person other than getting cussed out by one who was a bit gone mentally.
Vegas appears to have a pretty good public transit system, that goes all over the area. I do not think I would need a car. Just find a place to live, that is near a public transit stop. Would not be too difficult.
Vegas aka sin city would be one of the worst cities in America when it comes to crime because its that city everybody from cali runs away too bacause its too expensive in cali, but the law and the leaders of the city (casino owners) crack down hard on all criminal activity. Theyre not gonna make alot of money from tourism if Las Vegas gains the rep of being dangerous. Another thing yall gotta understand, west coast hoods dont have fucked up weather like the rest of the us has thats a major factor of why it looks nicer plus the west coast is younger and the hood politics and culture is different. I say the rest of the us dont really got politics thats why the murder rate so high.
He just showed the affordable apts. shit don’t even be going on around there. I used to live down the street from the west gate. Looked kind of rough on the outside but actually quite and peaceful
Little Tijuana is on East Bonanza, and Eastern go further down on Bonanza you'll enter what we call Third World. What your talking about is North Town as we always called it since 1960's
I'm from Brazil and I really liked your channel because you show another side of the United States and not only what the media shows as a perfect place to live. It has its problems like all countries have, and broke the belief of some Brazilians that the United States is the best place in the world. Greetings from Brazil!
Hi from France, i am totaly agree with you. This RU-vid channel show us the dark sides of the hoods in the United States (not watched in the medias) ; but like you say all the countries get theirs problems. I grew up with "the American Dream" throught the TV and the american sports teams. Peace & all the best to everyones.
Yep. Just like anywhere. It's got it's nice areas and areas that you can't walk at night. Also police response sometimes can be 1 hour in the worst areas and in higher end areas they can be there in 5 minutes.
@@namirwilliams6486 damn!!, you real tough on the internet fo me favor comw the north and just start calling random niggas "bitches" like you say and watch what happen.. i promise it will be very bad day for you and come by yourself start with pecos and gowan
JMac Well Vegas hoods have definitely been changing over the past decade. But idk if you were ever familiar with the wars in Vegas Between LA and Vegas. Or between Vegas hoods, especially north town and west side hoods. But it was ugly. Shit not like before tho. All watered down
@@kwood55981 yeah that's true that it is in the middle of the Mojave desert, but that doesn't mean that grass can't be planted, and grown if the area you're building on doesn't have natural bermuda grass already growing. They just decided to put nothing, but concrete all over the area which looks very uninviting.
Solfire Superhero that is Vegas, hot and dry. Check Arizona, parts of Texas and New Mexico. You will not see a lot of trees and plants either. They are all deserts
Waking up to dead neighbors on Christmas finding Unknown vehicle with a dead guy in his car drug bust in the neighborhood while buying a console of some random person and hearing bombs go off yhupp North Las Vegas is bad @LunaTwi01
Word up I grew up in North Town. Those hoods he went to weren't shit. He didn't go to wild wild west side either. Who told you to just go to 28 you didn't go to Donna or nowhere.
^^ why they call it naked city? We stayed at the strat a month ago n yea it’s a lil rough. What got me tho is there’s boarded up old appts all over the dam place back there soon as u pull outa the parking garage.
Nice video. Great seeing LV. I must admit it was not what I expected, so barren and lonesome looking! Congrats on the 200k subscribers, CharlieBo313🎊🎉🎊🙌🏾
Brenda Jefferson .....brenda it was summer time.....can tell cause the trees. Maybe 110 degrees.......everyone stays in doors. If you go downtown, casino area you see more activity. You go out only if you are getting into your car and......you better have air cond. Everyone does.
@Paula Johnson those are the expensive places. LA has hoods too. Edit: some of the hoods are getting expensive too for the people living there aka gentrification but thats another story
I've been living in los Angeles for 54yrs. My family settled here in Los Angeles in 1890 my Grandparents we born and raised here in L.A. and died in their 90's BELIVE me I know all about Los Angeles. I go way back. I've also have been traveling to and from Nevada. I just haven't seen anything compares to L.A. In Los Angeles so many shooting and robberies. I'm glad you like Los Angeles Paula.. Someone has to.
NineDeuceCinco I was born and raised in Pittsburg, when I was growing up Pittsburg was pretty bad & Antioch wasn’t that bad, now because of gentrification Pittsburg is a lot better but Antioch has gotten way worse.
Las Vegas is were I grew up !! I lived all over vegas and I must say that a lot of the neighborhoods are old and run down but majority of the locals mind their business because it’s easy to get caught up here. Tbh it use to be way worse than this back in the day. It’s actually refreshing to see how much Las Vegas has cleaned up throughout the years. There use to be a tremendous amount of people living on the streets, drug addicts and prostitution. I never realized how beautiful this city is until I watched this video.
@Zanda Williams My sister is a person of color. She lived here for a few years. She's from the L.A. area and in her opinion she's never been in a more integrated, inclusive feeling city than Las Vegas. So, perhaps to answer your question, maybe not "nightlife" separated from the general community. What we have is open to everyone. I rarely go any place that isn't a mixture. The only obvious separation is "green" color and that's true everywhere. Based on my sister's POV, I'd say, yes, Las Vegas is welcoming of black people.
Been in Vegas my whole life and you didn't cover the worst hoods. Start behind the Stratosphere at night and if you survive ill show you the other bad hoods.
I lived in one of these areas as a child (thank God my daddy moved us out asap) it doesnt look bad but my memories consist of my neighbor getting shot in our apartments yard, my front neighbors being rated by the swat cus they were drug dealers and prostitutes, and not being able to go outside after dark cus there was almost daily a drive by shooting.
You know you’re a legit homie when you can park a nice ride in the hood and no one messes with it. Every time I saw an RV I wondered what was going on inside.
this is what happens when you have pride in your neighborhood.. it turns into a place where everyone can coexist, rats, pigeons, humans, criminals.. and only scatter when the lights get turned on or a cop rolls by.
I live in Vegas. This is mainly the north and east side. Of course there is crime but it’s mostly just the older/aged areas of Vegas. As long as you don’t go lookin for trouble, you’re straight. Vegas/Henderson is a great area. Much love for all your hard work showing different areas of cities across the US!! Salute!!
Your comment is a year old but I couldn't agree with you more the (hood )area's it's pretty much the older development of Vegas. I've lived here for a while now and I've noticed if you look for trouble you'll find it if you don't you won't.
Being an Indian staying in India I don't think I will be able to visit these hoods that you show. Thanks to you I can at least know how they look & feel.
It’s hella messed up that your driving thru regular neighborhoods around town calling them the WORST HOODS lmao. Most those streets you drove thru aren’t bad at all just outdated. The neighborhoods you were driving thru is pretty much how all of Vegas looks besides the new homes. Smh. Making people ashamed of where they live.
And if you want to see something bad, take a look at $500k homes that have been purchased by Californians and turned into section 8 housing. That's not good.
Yet again and evermore, Charlie: THANKS SO MUCH FOR THIS BOSS TRIP!! 🌟🌟🌟 I thoroughly enjoy your trips because you take us into cities famous for one thing or another that make tourists say, "We MUST visit this place, how exciting, what fun!" - and show us the OTHER side of those cities that are NOT fun or exciting or luxurious. You open our eyes, make us aware, smarten us up!! Bless you for it! 🙏 Now, for those of us who know Las Vegas as only a star-bright, luxurious and exhilarating gambling mecca, who woulda thunk there was so much poverty, so many housing projects and slums? Well, we sure as hell know it now!! 😉
Those neighborhoods didn’t look too bad. The very first needed foliage, a lot more plants. The others had small cars, so what. When visiting a rabbi in the Oakland Hills many residents had cars that were ten (10) years old or older. There is poverty of the mind, but we did not go inside. My brothers lived in Las Vegas’ ghetto, very near Clark High School and I only remember the swimming pools in each complex and the fourteen (14) dollar rent.
West coast hoods are only cleaner looking because they don’t have shitty weather like the east coast. Trust me no ones outside cleaning their buildings, painting stuff and picking up the parking lot
I’m Australian I recently traveled to Vegas and California god I loved Vegas I thought I’d hate it. But I knew there’d be a side we didn’t see.? We certainly saw suffering in San Fran & LA 😪
HOT KNIVES IN ALL UR 3RD EYES I agree I really didn’t like it at all ontop the place the huge hotel I was staying at was having a fucking my little pony convention and there was 1000 adults dressed up in Australia my little pony generally attracts only kids between 3-14 so to see adults going all out was such a shock there was 1000’s of them.
Gerry Gizzy Garcia general tourist area for the most part but we also went to Haight Ashbury & I wanted to drive through the Tenderloin: I live in Australia where I live there’s pristine beaches no traffic lights and 10,000 people at most probably less.
Ochre Clay yeah tenderloin has a bad homeless population drugs everywhere too when i went i went to hunters ppint projects which is the worst of thr worst took pics too but luckily i did it early in the day and quickly lol
I live and grew up around the Vegas area. And yes, the older east side of town at that. This is NOT the worst hoods in town. Poor or old neighborhoods are not necessarily the "worst hoods".
r s west coast hoods look nicer den east coast hoods but it don’t matter cuz they the community there wild as fuck, you could be walking into a nice lookin ass neighborhood Nd not come home
I’m from the bay been living in Vegas for a year I live on the east and I’ve lived in the north Vegas is the most driest place you can live ain’t NO HOOD Places in Vegas .. Vegas is really safe everywhere
Dude...you get around! I'm from Vegas btw...cheers! I used to live & deliver pizza at all them Hoods! It's a lot Hoodier in the NorthEast part of Vegas...it seems you were cruising more around the Central East of Las Vegas. Cheers.
I first got to Vegas in the early 80s. 1980s/90s Vegas had some really wild parts of town Naked City, Westside, East Fremont, 28th st, Civic Center/Cheyenne, Swenson from Twain to Sierra Vista, and Northtown were really hot at times. For example, the Stop and Shop at North Las Vegas blvd and Pecos was called by locals the Stop and Get Shot due to all the gun play that happened there. The payphones were an especially deadly spot to be around after dark. A lot of places are pretty calm now but shit still kicks off.
Still going on but they like to make people think all is well so the local news only reports the nice stuff or fluff pieces. I've lived here since 1965 and always in the downtown area.
Hahaha - lived on Swenson and lived in the complex behind the Sahara hotel. Wild times. The naked city behind vegas world. Westside on lake mead. Those were the days...
This is definitely not the worst place in Las Vegas. Maybe you should go someplace else and tear down that City. I have lived here for 28 Years and I Love it!!!!
