The trick about tying the ribbon was worth it's weight in gold. I am watching this video sitting here babysitting my laser make ornaments and the ribbon trick made then look so much better!

Beautiful! What paint did you use for white coating? Did you directly paint it with white or apply primer first? Love the matte finish

What masking do you use? I have tried both wide masking tape and paper transfer mask. Neither seem to stick really well.

What made you decide to get an Aeon laser vs glowforge, dremel, etc.?

Hi Alicia. I knew I would outgrow a hobby machine like the Glowforge or Dremel. They are nice starter machines but very slow. Plus, The Aeon showroom was only 3 hours away from me so I could go see a machine in person. I was pretty much sold after I saw it. Thankfully, it was one of the best decisions I could have made that year. ☺️

Do you have a code for the Mira 7? Do you recommend the 40 or 60 watt tube?

The company does not use referral codes. However, I do have an affiliate link listed above. Thank you for asking! I have the 60watt tube and it works well for cutting 1/4”. I know people who have 40 watt machines have more difficulty cutting through 1/4”.
