I almost fell out. Yea him with 4 way. Camaro. Carburetor small block. Doing burn outs in school parking. Omg yes memories. 1980. Bunch of us vrooooom vroom. My dad took my 70 396 4 spd nova away for couple weeks. I left school parking lot. Side ways grabbed second. Went straight. And bamm. His friend sherif dallas County was at corner. Oh yea me Joe cool. Hot gf in suicide seat. Cold coors in between legs. Seemed good idea at the time. Yep wound up flipping that one in street race. Hot gf was on restriction ( good thing ) married hot gf. Had many cars since. Hot gf goes into labor while we are street racing. Lol. Thats another story. Open headers m&h race master slicks. 454 tunnel ram 2 4s. No hood 70 chevelle pulling into emergency with hot gf in labor. Lol. Thanks for the memories. Keep that since of old school. Cars now are just boring.
@@Whatguywhat I’m proud to say this actually isn’t my dads!! I got myself 2 jobs worked my tail off saved Christmas birthday and more. I will say this…the engine was my grandpas which he gave to me. The trans was my dads that he wasn’t using and the rear end too but everything else in between I had to work very hard for! My father when he was my age raided his dads junk pile. Now I’m doing the same thing… what actually gave me motivation was kids at school with these high dollar bmws and mustangs that mom and dad bought for them. I wanted to bring something that I built and that I worked for. In all honesty though I couldn’t of done it without my dad and my grandfather… but this is not my dads! It’s mine! Thanks for watching!
This renewed my faith in humanity. Long live kids with Camaros and "burnout tires." Somebody raised you right, because you even knew how to use properly tighten the lug nuts.
squarebodys do it better. i got the cops called on me 3 or 4 times for my square body at school. im 19 now. and that things rips 12x better then it did at school
Good to see the youth of today doing stuff like this, for sure. Important last lesson in High School - how to deal with Authority even when they show incompetent behaviour. Passed with honours, have a great life......
I’m 42. I graduated in ‘99 and did a Top Fuel John Force burnout in a pro street tubbed 41 Plymouth Coupe. 406 chevy roller cam motor. I’m very proud of you. Too many young souls blow black diesel smoke. Such a shame. Carry on man! Peace and respect from Kentucky!
This is great! Graduated high school in 1974 and this is what you did back in the day for fun!! Had a 70 SS Chevelle Cranberry Red with Black Stripes,396 /402 with 400 Turbohydramatic Trans. With 2” AP Headers. Sounded great with the headers dropped between those hedges at the football field. ( Nostalgia! A place we have visited but ache to go to again )
Man does this bring back memories!!! I still have my high school car (74 GTO) and loved seeing that a little old school high-octane rebellion is still in this generation! Awesome car my friend! I love that you built it yourself!!!!! Have fun, but BE SAFE!
I'm 34 and couldn't be more Jealous. Keep this video man, one day you'll be old and can show your grandkids you did it big on the last day!! Drive safe brother
I did the same thing in 1985. 77 Trans Am. Not open headers but loud glass packs. Small school. Principal busted me at the end of the parking lot. Lol. Kudos to you carrying on the legacy!!!
Awesome video. It’s great to see someone your age learning so much about old school hot rods. Love the burnouts. Just like back in the 80s and 90s. Bravo young man.
Its been 20+ since I was in high school but watching this brought back some memories. I had a 63 uni body Ford truck that I had a 429 in and an 83 S-10 with small block out of a vette. I am glad that the younger guys are keeping the torch lit!
Keep up the good work buddy, we did the same stuff back in the day in 1979 through 1981. To most of us this is normal compared to what is going on in today's youth.
This hobby and passion will never died. I graduated in 2002 and I owned a straight piped 1991 LX 5.0. The last day of high school I did bunch of donuts in the student parking lot. A lot that's badass camaro this is my favorite gen.
In high school, we had a section of parking lot where upperclassmen and teachers parked. My friend had a 1967 Pontiac Catalina with a 400 and posi rear end. He backed in the lot and ripped her all the way out. We got in trouble, too. Man, it's great to see cars like yours still hanging on to tradition!
My high School ride was a 1972 Vega GT with 327. 42 years ago I was this kid. Thank you for the trip down memory lane! ROCK AND ROLL AND KEEP THE RUBBER SMOKIN!
Absolutely awesome man. I’ve always loved all cars, from American muscle to JDM to euro and so on, but old school muscle has always had that special spot in my heart. Awesome send off man, God bless you. :)
Nice dude,,, I did the same thing on my last day of high school. I had a 70 AMX, with a small block Plymouth stroker motor in it. Warms my heart to see this is still going on, and that there still are kids like myself in the world.
Dude youre doing it right! Working hard, staying humble and showing old school style. My dad was always on me about style. He always said if you have a cool car, you dont open it up for just anyone. You roll smooth and chill and pick your time to open it up. And when you decide to open it up, you blow it out all the way through 4th gear! Lol so thats how i did it except on graduation day- i destroyed that high school parking lot. I enjoy your car, videos and all the memories it brings back! Keep it up bro!
She sounds healthy. It’s a shame those New York winter’s weren’t very kind to her. We have the same problem here in Philly. Glad to see some young bucks still interested in the old American iron 🤘🏼
I have plans to eventually restore it and make it nice again. My father is a great body guy so hopefully in the near future we can fix the rust. Thanks for commenting!
This thing is sick asf. Sounds wicked too. Both with and without the exhaust. Rock on man🤘🏻I want my 89 camaro to sound this good 👍🏻 🙏🏻 My respect go's out to you all the way from Canada 🇨🇦
@3Generation_Racing ikr ppl just think "oh you have a car, so what.." and it's like na I got piece of car history... but ya thanks man. I'd be graduating this year too but my knee got so messed up that I've been on crutches since January and I missed alotta school so now I gotta wait til next year 😭😭
Mate! That was so good. Love seeing a young fella who knows what he’s doing, especially torquing up the lug nuts! Like others have said, you’ve been raised right and strike me as a really nice kid. 🙌🏼👍🏼🔥
Hell yeah buddy! Strong soundin engine. I love it! 🤘🏽 Congrats on graduating and best to ya moving forward. Future is lookin bright and loud, it goes by quick, make the most of it Cheers!
Awesome car, sounds really good. I took my cammed 63 fairlane to school before I graduated and it turned a lot of heads cause of how loud it is, definitely one of my favorite high school memories.
Good job kid. The last day of school, well you did it right. My last day of high school was way before you were born and there were maybe 20 guys (including myself) that did the exact same thing, Seeing kids like you that are into cars gives me a glimmer of hope for your generation. Again good job!!
About a month before I graduated I backed up on the front sidewalk of my high school and did a power stand that dug divots that were there until they remodeled the school about 10 years ago. That was at around 3 AM in April, 1988. A 1973 Z/28 did the honors. Rock on, young man. Glad to see not everyone is glued to a cell phone.
Dude, I was so excited for you while watching this, and a little classic song was going through my head from when I was graduating high school, Alice Cooper, "Schools Out for Summer......Schools out for ever!!!" All the males and some women were doing burnouts in 1968 GTO's, 426 Hemis, and all kinds of 396 Chevy Action. Plus, in the old days all the older generations would treat it as a badge of honor and celebrate with you, and so, they would watch and wave 👋 cheering you on. Also, they would share beers and cigarettes with the graduating class because it's a badge of honor into adulthood and also for celebratory purposes! Thanks for carrying the flag of tradition and having fun while doing it. Thanks.
Glad to see some of the younger generation still building som classes muscle. Congratulations on the car bud. Sounds really good. Bet it sounds good even better in person.
I gotta say watching this video the whole entire time I had a big grin on my face! I had a K5 blazer open headers picked up one of my buddies at school the principal came running over yelling at me to slow down and I hollered at him I’m not speeding I’m just loud but anyways awesome car. sounds healthy. You are a menace lol I like it a lot keep it up with the cool videos!
Good content…Reminds me of me at the same point in my life!😂 As earlier stated, my hope for the future of America has been bolstered a bit today! Keep it up young man. And please stay safe…👍🏻
Awesome video! I had a 79 Z/28 my senior year, and also did a big Ole smokey burnout, back in 1986. And by the way, are you aware that your factory shifter is a dual gate. So many people never realize that. Such a cool touch for GM.
Great video my man! You’ve obviously been raised right, lol! Glad to see your attention to safety with the jackstands and leaving the jack under the rearend, and properly torqueing the wheels…another sign you’ve been raised right. Letting the engine warm up before thrashing on it, you were raised right. And caring about your neighbors, is a sure sign you were raised right. Being respectful to the security guard, even though he wasn’t very respectful to you, another sign you were raised right. Having your cool old Camaro in the first place is dang sure a sign of good raising. The 70 Elco in your driveway looks good too, BTW. I enjoyed your video buddy. It appears things might not be too different from when I graduated in 1975 after all. Wishing you all the best for a wonderful future.
@@3generation_racing658if I was walking out of the same school that day it wouldn't matter if there where Ferrari's lambo's or any other supercar you and your car would be the most awesome man. Old school just has that magic. Whatever you do from here on may you find your future but never forget this time of your life hope you make much more memories with that car God bless and stay cool like the way you are of what I can see the new world has not got it's grips on you you stand out in the crowd bud
Ol girl sounds good all opened up ! Brings back memories of mine (79 ta) when I did something very similar on my last day.... good work kid !! damn nice to see the spirit is still 🔥 alive and well 👍 👌
Congrats young man , it get serious from now on enjoy and I wish you success at what ever you endeavor.peace and blessings in your new phase of life, the journey begins!
I love old cars and my family has always been a stock car racing family especially when it was actually road cars on track. I might have taken a different choice than they would with a 32 yr old Miata, but it's RWD, manual and handles well. My dad raced a Nova and a Camaro on dirt. His road car was an olds 442. I'm going to have to add one of them to my unhealthily growing collection at some point.
YES !!! YESS!!! YESSSS!!!! Well done!!! New generation driving a nasty sounding 2nd gen. Camaro, awesome! This, whilst being respectful and taking care, congratz to you and to who raised you (well!). Keep it up!
Congratulations 🎉glad to see there are younger generations still doing cool burnouts with real real burnout cars! I REALY ENJOYED YOUR VIDEO.. 🎉 Your a good kid !!!!
I just graduated too and i have a 79 z28 aswell! Sadly mine doesnt run yet tough but were getting there my car is a simmilar build to yours with a stroked 350 with a slight build love the car man keep it up!!
Ahh the glory days indeed. I graduated hs in 1980 and it was common to see these cars. Had a lot of fun with hot rodded cars: Chargers, Camaros, FIREBIRDS, hemi powered stuff and don’t forget the trucks and v8 jeeps!! Great video! I am sure the school Barney Fife will be ok, he likely wishes he was you in that classic Z28!! Ps i had a 78 v8 Camaro, 74 Charger, 82 TransAm and still have an 04 Mach 1
This was AWESOME! So many memories came flooding back. Times were easy then. I had a fast camaro and a fast bike. Well..at least we thought they were fast back then. Nothing like our new mustang. Its everything we dreamed of back then.
Good job keeping that 2nd gen alive. That carbon fiber gauge bezel looks killer I ordered a black one on Friday and after seeing yours I think I made the wrong choice.. PS Don't ever sell it you will regret it lol
I actually made that gauge panel so thank you makes me feel good lol. But I was going to buy a kit but there very expensive and didn’t have the money for it. Thanks for commenting!
I did the exact same thing in my 5.0L, leaving my high school over twenty years ago. The rent-a-pigs TRIED to stop me but were unsuccessful in doing so... but great burnout, though, kid.
Did this in my dads hellcat for my senior prank, I was allowed to do burnouts on the blacktop inside of the fence 😂 these rent-a-cops are lames for not letting u do it in the parking lot 😂
