JFC this is extremely relatable on so many levels you have no idea. I've gone through a lot of what you monologued about in this one. The struggles, the life experiences (also ex-JW with fam who still are). Being in your thirties, wondering if you want to join the ranks of folks having children or not, missing your family and feeling a bit adrift from where you were as a child surrounded by extended family who are off having their own adult lives. Parents managing to become antagonists in their childrens' lives because they can't get their own heads outside of a main-character bubble. Every time you asked if you were making sense I was going AGH YEAH YOU REALLY ARE. You are very seen this time 'round. Ooof.

32:00 one of my most memorable moments of playing Pokémon GO was when my old friend and I saw a Blastoise on the nearby list. We knew we weren't going to have time to walk over to where it was, so we went to a part of his house where the GPS always spoofed slightly, and we both managed to get the GPS to spoof over to the Blastoise, and catch it. It took me about 2 balls and him about 20 to catch it. Good times

You'll never see this Tom, but as someone whose life in my early 20s has been full of turmoil, moving to live on my own and struggling with mental health, seeing your unapologetic decline and eventual rise up into getting better, it gives me hope, reminds me I'm not alone with what I have.

I’m trying to type up a big heart felt comment about how much these vlogs mean to me and how much of a role model I consider Tom for myself but I’m not a writer and words are hard. Tomska is one of the few people I look up to both creatively and just in general. He’s the reason I’m majoring in Film making at university! I made a fan made music video before I took any formal course in film making and I referred to your Last Week vlogs when you would talk about production stuff to guide me. I learned what a shot list was from you and what that meant and it saved our shoot. The video ended up getting acknowledged by the artist of the song we used. And now I’m filming my senior thesis this year, and it’s all thanks to you Tom! Thank you for being a good human being! Edit: I was telling my partner about have this moment of appreciation I was having and they responded with “We all need our Emotional Support dumbass ❤” and I just thought that you might find that silly if you were to ever read this.

Ah this was nice to watch! I enjoy seeing all those faces again. I can relate to the London home being a house sentiment. I felt that for many years and it started affecting my mental health. Since I moved to Peterborough, me and mine have finally started building a home. It must be something about this stage of life, where what was healthy(ish) for our early, most productive years in our careers, isn't able to give us the same feeling anymore. Ironically, due to work, I'm actually IN London more than I was when I lived in London... but I now feel like I have more of a home. Great seeing you become your main character self again dude. I know you'll likely not see that but if you needed someone to talk about their experiences leaving the witnesses or even about leaving as a trans/nb person it id love to talk about it. I also am in a weird in between of how I feel about the witnesses (in the way that it works fine enough for my parents but it made me horrendously depressed) but also the family that's still in it still don't talk to me like a person because im out "in the world" and living as a guy now. which sucks. I've been a fan of yours for a really long time, and honestly seeing you share that you used to be a witness was so cool to me. it helped me realize that it was possible to move through and things will be okay. I adore your content, especially your longer form content, both the deep dives on the silly things as well as your more genuine pieces. again idk why I'm typing this out because you absolutely will likely never see this. but I always have loved hearing you talk about your experiences with the witnesses. and if you ever wanted a trans perspective I'm sure I'm not the only one who would be willing to share it. I'm also relatively young (almost 21, I left when I was 17) and it could be a fun perspective on being raised in different generations of witnesses. I think the main thing I wanted through this was just that if you wanted to make that piece, I'm sure you could find people with really good perspectives to speak about it. and the fear of being an apostate is real. unfortunately especially with the witnesses its a very real thing. they don't like stances at all. but at the end of the day that's your own journey and choices. and that's okay. as a fan of yours no matter if you talk about it more or not your still a really awesome content creator. especially seeing you grow and become more conscious of how what you say and do affects others. you are doing really amazing tom. thank you for sharing moments from your existence with the internet.
