I recently removed my reddit app after it stopped working last month and I found myself doing the exact same thing several times over the next few days. Social media addiction is real and significantly more prevalent than people are willing to acknowledge.

Regarding the parakeets: there's multiple stories of how they came to be. I remember two: 1. A breeding pair were pets and escaped, bred and have adapted to loving england. 2. Some were let go/escaped from filming at Shepperton Studios many years ago and they've been thriving since.

Thank you so much TomSka for being upfront about your depression and just surviving day in and day out and the idea that you are struggling with no sense of purpose in life. i have been in a very similar position these past few months and just having someone i admire humanise these thoughts is very helpful. I hope that you get your Up soon, and just know there are many many people supporting you and loving whatever content you produce.

Personally I love the tiktoks you've been doing. It's been fun getting doses the TomSka™ humor randomly. I feel like the shorter format and wild algorithm lets you be a bit more free than on youtube where if a highly produced sketch goes bad, it's horrible. But if a short tiktok does poorly you can just go back to the pile of props and ideas and make another Edit: Got a bit further but fuck me the Parakeet in London monologue was amazing.

Thank you so much Tom for talking not just about your battle with depression but especially the head tics. It's something that I suffered with as a teenager, eventually after changing schools they went away, and I thought no more of it. Fast forward to this year, and after a fairly strong bout of depression and stress they're back big time. Everyone I know, including myself, has always been really confused about why I do it, and nobody seems to understand that it's a completely involuntary thing - I certainly don't do it by choice! Having someone of your reach and popularity speak up about it I'm sure will really help people's understanding of the condition, and I cannot thank you enough for that!

I want to say, this is easily my favorite series on RU-vid. And I don't say that lightly - I seriously appreciate this. I think one of the best parts is that it is doing what you wanted to do, even if it feels like it isn't. I don't want to see someone who's "fixed" or whatever. It's healing to see you. Not necessarily fixed, but better. A better person, a hopeful person, a kind and loving person who still struggles, and struggles hard, but brings hope wherever he goes. About the barny video, even tho you might not be happy with a script that isn't perfect you are incredibly funny naturally. Don't overthink everything, cut yourself some slack, cause you are very entertaining as a creator and really gifted in comedy. "Big Boy" always reminds me of the great US family restaurant. Went there all the time as a kid. Big Boy was also their mascot and he had figures & comics and other media that you could pick up at the restaurant. Great childhood memories.

I generally don't like using the phrase "it get's better" with depression and trauma and whathaveyou because in my experience it doesn't really actually *get better,* what gets better is your ability to manage and control it. on the outside it might look like you've 'recovered' or whatever way you wish to put it but inside there's still that struggle, you've just got it under close watch and have developed tools to mitigate any harm if it does break out. with that said; I hope all's well for you, Tom! (imagine here an image of Baymax giving you a big hug)

This made me think of things. I feel I unraveled some things that resonate deep down in my past experiences while watching this. I imagine one may come out of your videos a bit distraught, I feel I maybe should have (maybe I am a bit, in my mind but not in my emotions), but instead I feel sort of clear minded from this. Like a veil of naivity is discipating even further, without being more pessimistic necessarily. I think it's because I've already had my big deception from the world and know what few things I can hold onto to carry-on. Then again, I am only 27. This is just meant as feedback.
