this reminds me of Sunday nights when I was in primary school. Had my bath and would watch last of the summer wine with a cup of tea before bed.

I watch these every day. I love my britcoms. Better than anything here.

been watching these for years. I bought the dvds and every so often rewatch them. Just good old laughable fun. No cussing, naked women or political agendas. What a breath of fresh air from the garbage sitcoms of today.

My favorite element of this series has always been the beautiful countryside, and how it's so much a part of life when you live there...most of the action takes place on these long rambles...it'd be heartbreaking to see any of it paved over to make blocks of flats for the megrant invasion.😥

one of the most funniest episodes, a coffin was a bit of a give away telling us who is dead. Funny it landed on Howard going down the hill, it should have landed on everyone cause they are all dead now.

Why doesn't Pearl just live her life separately and let Howard do the same and just live like roommates? Neither love each other. Just share the house to cut expenses. His pension pays for everything and she pays by keeping house and cooking and laundry. She's breaks her marriage vows to Howard everytime she disrespects him as an individual human being. He's not nearly as guilty as she is, because it seems that Howard has never made physical love to Marina. Pearl is a controlling witch.
