This is one of my favorite episodes with Seymour. I love when compo pretends to fall in the water, and shows he hasn't fallen in just about when clegg and seymour are going to dive in the water. I also like how they constructed a submarine using a steel drum.
LOVE lotsw THE theme gives ME a warm safe feeling💯💖 ..RIP TO ALL THE wonderful cast who gave us so much pleasure over THE year's! I often visit holmfirth AND BILL AND Peter's grave compo & gleggy)) BEAUTIFUL little town/village
Is that village still as quaint as it is in the series or has it changed like ive heard much of Europe has? Seems western culture is being destroyed and is something were told is evil now. Strange times.
15 years ago i had a routine every saturday night. Id watch this series. I knew i was older when the highlight of my Saturday evening was watching Last of the Summer Wine. I miss that routine. Prior to this series id watch Keeping Up Appearances every Saturday night. Miss those days too. They were so normal compared to the lies were being told to keep us in a constant state of fear panic and prejudice durimg the era of the cov
I know Im randomly asking but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly lost my login password. I would love any assistance you can give me

Absolutely love last of the summer wine I have every single episode on dvd absolutely fantastic timeless comedy and great scenery and fantastic actors/actresses too
I remember when this show first aired. Due to the bridge scene, the BBC voiced over the end credits warning the general public not to attempt any of Compo's stunts in real life.
Love watching these , i live not too far , seem them good old Boys in the in my early days , Had dinner with Nora batty in 1992, at the old school house Ashton u Lyne , Holmfirth she did work for st Micheals , my Dad was verger , i remember her grand daughter form hadfield growing up , its a pity that the picture quality only shows around 50 percent , thumbs up .
I once got a great suit from Oxfam's waste bin. Actually, it was a store they had that was supposed to sell what they had failed to sell in other stores. I got a Pierre Cardin suit for about £3.00. It just shows what you can find when you look.
Every time there's a commercial on an episode I am watching it jumps straight into the following episode. Jumped into 5 different episodes within 5 seconds. What's going on?????
The best program on television at the time compo dressed has a lovely tramp cleggy the well dressed handsome man, Eli was the best clown allways up to some funny scenes 😀, Seymour very will perlite person ,Nora Batty hits compo most times with mop head 😀 😄, ivy gives compo. Cup and saucer ,then he drinks from a saucer classic. Howard and Marina love is blind 😆
I like the big guy,..I don't know his name but he reminds me of an American actor by the name of ..Forest Tucker.. he's dead now,...but his looks are very similar.
As a Canuck, I can't get my head around of men wearing coats, vests and ties while out in the country. And wearing wellies has to be hot and uncomfortable.
Why does it always have to be Compo they use for doing the horrible, dangerous things. He should get his own back on those two men who believe themselves to be clever.
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view!" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment?"
