This is the IDW Transformers comics miniseries, a 5-parter called Last Stand of the Wreckers by Nick Roche and James Roberts.
This tells the tale of Impactor, Springer, Ironfist, and the Decepticon OVERLORD. The Autobots Wreckers sub-team is something of legend, and this 2010 series brings them to the forefront on this crazy, low-odds mission.
Prowl, Ultra Magnus, and Megatron play small roles in this would-be vintage timeline that I feel would fit well into the G1 1980s storyline. Enjoy viewing this - I had fun making it!

This is one of my favourite books. Love the Wreckers. Marvel or IDW, they are wicked. Sins of the Wreckers is sweet as well.

The Wreckers have always had a special place in my heart. TwinTwist was one of my first Transformers (along with Roadbuster, who is only featured here in flashbacks). Years later, Ironfist was one of the few G2 Transformers to be added to my collection. Nice to see him get some use in the comics. With my favourite team, no less.

Great video! As someone with only a passing knowledge of Transformers, I admittedly, I got a bit lost after the 37th named character, but now I definitely want to track this book down and read it.

Neat story!! Great art as well. I like the darker side of the Autobots, which inevitably would come to light after warring for so long. Impactor and Overlord seem like the same character as you said, but it would be the final face off of the story as they were bound to tangle..course they could have just sent in GRIMLOCK!! 🦖 Awesome video!!! 😗👍

I remember getting the book about the Last Stand of the Wreckers years ago. My current username is because poor Rotorstorm didn't get much attention. Transformers has been one of my favorites when I was a kid and still remains to this day! Wreck and Rule!

I put together a g1 / third party / siege wreckers. G1 Whirl, Roadbuster, Top Spin, Twintwist, Springer, Sandstorm, Broadside, Siege Impactor, and a third party repaint of warpath×2 with upgrade kit with hammer, anvil, shoulder connector, and two heads one red eyes and one blue plus backpacks to make rack'n'ruin.

Growing up reading the original Marvel Comics, I always like the original line-up of The Wreckers; Impactor, Roadbuster, Whirl, Topspin, Twin-Twist and Rack'n'Ruin. Shame we never got a 'Proper' G1-style toy for Rack'n'Ruin...only that TF Cyberverse travesty!
