@@marlonbatcho1278 i knw that it was originally by Peter Mayer's.. i was just only 5 yrs old at that time. what i was saying is, that it was my favorite during my elementary, included in vanessa williams' album 1994 sang by her..
There are also other Filipino artists/singers that are highly recommended. Pls try to dig to these artists: 1. Sitti - The Bossanova Princess 2. Richard Poon - The Crooner 3. Jedd Madela 4. Apo Hiking Society 5. Bituin Escalante 6. Frenchie Dy They perform mostly in ASAP, a Sunday weekly show
this was the time na puro songhits laman nang mga notebook ko instead mga aralin.lols sarap balikan mga nakaraan yung pa chill² ka lang..haaaaaaaay buhay 1990's and 2000's
You two are remarkable in finding out our true gem in music industry, Paolo Santos is a solo performer in popular pubs & bars during the 90's. His a composer, singer, lyricist, musician rolled into one. He still plays from time to time today and in TV shows too!
@@jrsanjose1703 it's give and take. Alam ng tao kung sino ang mga nagbebait but still nagrerequest pa rin sila para lang mapakilala sa iba yung artist na sinusuportahan nila, they are just doing what a fan should or must do. You don't even have a say here dahil hindi naman ikaw ang nag request at malamang hindi rin naman ikaw ang manunuod, maliban nalang kung ipokrito ka na kahit sinasabi mo na bait lang pero papanuodin mo pa din. You do you. Get mo yung point?
Trivia : Moonlight over Paris is originally composed and sung by Peter Mayer for his own album "Spare Tire Orchestra" and released on 1988. Song also covered by Vanessa Williams and Paolo Santos.
Why can I remember an earlier year for the bands acoustic era? Idk but I when Sarah G started in the industry in 2003, one of the things that amazed me was her competing with opm bands which everyone just loves and were already big that time esp Parokya?
Thank you so much for reacting to Paolo Santos song sadly only you guys reacted to him, im deeply happy and appreciate your efforts knowing Filipino musics more keep it up ! ♡♡

this is why i love your videos, your reaction's,not just focuses on the singers ability to sing but also evolutions of songs and the complexity of genres.stay safe guys.
I was in high school during this era.. it was 2004-2008 when opm is in such position. We used to bring our own guitars and do some sessions during breaks, lunch and when our teachers aren’t around. It made high school life fun and memorable. It helped me communicate with my peers effectively. South Boarder, freestyle , side A, callalily, sponge cola, orange and lemons, paolo santos, mymp, rocksteady, itchyworms, moonstar to name a few of our influences.
Thank you efra and waleska. I miss this song. This is One of my favorite song. Ypu should also react to sitti navvaro zings girl from ipanema. She is one of the 1st gen of soul sessionista b4 kz, kyla, daryl, jason n jr. Love you both.
This was the song that my husband always sings to me when we were girlfriend-boyfriend and on LDR, I suddenly remembered the feeling of being a teenager hahaha
Honestly, for the longest time, I thought Paolo was the original singer of this song because he sung it so well, he owned it. Defo, the golden age of OPM.. Starting from bands like Eraserheads, Rivermaya, Rockstar, South Border, Freestyle, and more. Hope you can check more of the OPM late 90s to early 2000 songs.
SHOOT! this is my most favorite song of all time! This brings back memories, very nostalgic. OMG idk if im gonna be happy or sad haha but thanks for this reaction! I always watch ur reation videos.. Love from the Philippines
Paulo Santos and this song popped to fame in the early to mid 2000's along with Jimmy Bondoc, Nina and MYMP. Most of their songs are easy listening songs.
When he was a teenager & started to like music, started to play a guitar, somebody bullied him, telling him he's not gonna be a guitarist, a singer! He took that as a challenge, honed his guitar playing talent to become a good acoustic guitar player at that & a good singer & composer! Every body then loved him!!
Moonlight over paris is compose and sang by Peter Mayer for his album "spare tire orchestra".... if im not mistaken it is released around 1999-2000 correct me if im wrong... its a wonderful song...
OHMYGOD!!!! I'm freaking out!! This was my request!! Thank you so much Waleska and Efra! I love you both! And I love your reaction and analysis 🤍🤍🤍 And I love Paolo still! Hehe. Thank you so much!!! 🤍🤍🤍 Edit: Upon watching the video, I might NOT be the only who recommended this. 😅 Hahaha. But of course, good old Pao is amazing and touched many hearts with his songs. Still, I'm glad that you checked out his song!
aww you're really going through the music of my youth! it's so touching seeing you guys do these songs because of the nostalgia but also that feeling of people you like getting to know about things we grew up loving.
I think this is just his cover, his original composition is "close", a bit up tempo and was used for the Close Up (toothpaste brand) commercial, I think Peter Mayer was the one who wrote moonlight over paris
Yesss! I requested this and I'm so happy you complied. Love U both and thanks. This song is a mainstay in my playlist and is a staple especially for long drives while enjoying beautiful scenery...It's a pure piece that provides a restful vibe. Keep on reacting W and E! Appreciate your channel much 💐💐💐
Please react to Nina live..the ff Steep Burn with Christian Bautista Love moves in mysterious ways Constantly Through the fire And so on... You will enjoy it..
I graduated elementary year 2000...this song got so popular arouns this time. We even sing this song on our music subject. im already 32 now.. just how fast the time.
I've missed this song. It's been so long since I last heard it. This is one of those songs that you just light up your mobile phone, hold it up high in your head, close your eyes, then sway to the tune. ❤️
Back in the days, Jimmy and Poalo together with DJ Myke Solomon and Luke Mijares (south border) formed a group “SABADO BOYS” (Saturday Boys), then later added new members like Mike Chan and Top Suzara (Freestyle).
Hahaha i remember when that song of paolo santos is trend in the philippines. Its the meal of every radio station wherever you tune in they play that song.
That was around 2001-2003, still remember hearing it over the radio and accoustic nights back in my college days. Accoustic jams are very popular that time..
Thank you for finding Paolo's music. He is one if my fave musician and singer. He composes his iwn song. This kind if music is what wr Filipinis love. We love good melodies.
I remember my childhood.Way back gradeschool and highschool. we always jam in the classroom in our freetime and breaks. Were learning guitar and singing their song is a trend.Acoustic Rnb forever!
Glad to know you reacted to Paolo Santos 😊😊. By the way, they have this group/collaboration called Sabado Boys, its like Budakel, they soloist which collaborated.
@Waleska Herrera I applaud what you and your brother are doing. You appreciate OPM music truly. There are some RU-vid reactions that just wanted to have views from Pinoys all over. Im amazed at how knowledgeable both of you are about OPM artists and its really wonderful that you do have some contacts with them. Your cover of Moira's song is fantastic. Diction is almost perfect. I remember when Efra said that Filipinos can speak Spanish but its not activated yet, well, back at you 🤗😜😘. Thanks for supporting OPM...
