Glock mags are made with a magnesium body covered with polymer, making it very thick and reducing capacity. This is partly why Shield Arms is able to make Glock 43X /48 mags with 5 extra rounds with a flush fit base pad. They are all metal with no polymer sleeve, making them larger internally.
That magazine is just like my new Steyr L9-A2 MF magazine setup. Just a different shape in the baseplate. Wonder if those would fit over? But assume they dont have the same angle.
Nice design - except in Canada my mags will be pinned @ 10 rounds 😐 Hopefully Laugo or the importer do it right - S&W puts out 10 round factory M&P mags that can barely take 10 and often don’t seat with a 10+1chambered
Oddly, I can do it with one of my three Alien mags. I have to use a mag loader and it is beyond tight!! I don't run it like that, it isn't meant to have that extra round.
@@JabariHunt It would be nice if they develop a version with a double stack and double feeding magazine. The slide would be wider and heavier, but the magazine could have a larger capacity and be shorter.
It is a 15rd housing with a +2 basepad, that is what I was surprised to find. Yes the basepad indicates the mag holds 17rds, but it isn't a 17rd housing.
