Laura Branigan was definitely one of the most underrated singers. Why is it that the underrated singers are the good ones? Laura was beyond awesome. I first heard her music when I was 8 or 9. I’m 29 now. My favorite songs by her are Self Control, The Lucky One and of course Forever Young. Self Control is badass because of that guitar solo in the beginning. That part never gets old. RIP Laura. You were too young

Laura was beautiful, talented, genuine, real, and so underappreciated. She deserved so much more. She didn't have that "Diva, I'm a celebrity attitude". She loved her fans and knew they were the reason she was doing what she loved. RIP Laura. I expect a song when I get to heaven someday.

I know you posted 7 months ago, but I just wanted to say that Elvis did go down into the crowd and greeted fans during a concert, but it took almost 5 minutes to get from one side to the other. He was bombarded by fans and he said afterwards he couldn't do that again. But agreed, it seems like singers don't appreciate their fans on this level anymore. Laura was a very exceptional woman and vocalist and it's a shame she is no longer around to share the love!
