@@conman063It's all over YT. Not so much the news. This volcano and it's activity have been handled so poorly. Look up the town of Grindavik, the Blue Lagoon, and the power plant near the Blue Lagoon & the town. The whole town has been lifted. There are cracks and huge fischers, and gigantic sink holes everywhere. Hotels have been evacuated. The town been evacuated. People have been homeless. It's a huge embarrassment & people were not being reimbursed for houses they paid insurance premiums on. They were actually letting people live in houses that weren't safe or habitable. The power has gone down due to the pipe lines collapsing going from the power plant to town. It's truly a disaster. People had been working in their famous fish processing plant and the floors weren't even safe or level. It's all very sad. The city literally thought they could control a volcano. Completely insane logic.

This footage looks kind of fake and I keep looking at it and other videos of the same incident and it does seem legit. What to believe? :( Is it bc of the angle of the setting sun and the smooth, velvety surface... or is this one bad CGI while the other clips are good CGI? :D burning to know!
It it is not time lapsed. If you look at the bubbling lake in the crater, the lava falling through the air appears to be going in slow motion even. The smoke looks natural too. Icelandic lava is some of the fastest on earth
the "crater" is a volcano located only 1 mile away from expensive yuppie resort and adjacent home rental city. Iceland has declared war against this volcano. -- In war, truth is the first fatality.
