In an interview with CNN's Chris Cuomo, LaVar Ball discusses President Donald Trump, the NCAA, and his decision to pull his son, LiAngelo, from UCLA's basketball team.
"I HAVEN'T LEARNED A THING" 😂😂😂😂😂😩😩 I like how he taught his son to never give anyone the opportunity to determine where you end up. He kept it moving and his son will continue to be successful.
No he wont, he's not successful now. No school wants him, because of his father, he's considered a problem, because of his dad. His dad is going to ruin his career, the only way this kid will make it in life is if he gets away from his father. His dad has used his kids to make himself famous and try to get rich off of. I Feel bad for his children.
I may not agree with all of Lavar's decisions, but I don't have to- they're his kids. Not mine. I think he's a man of integrity and I admire that. He's got an amazing, positive attitude and doesn't pass judgement on the people who don't agree with him. He's emotionally intelligent enough to say, "Hey, we can agree to disagree", rather than character assassinate everyone who doesn't see things his way. I hope nothing but good things are ahead for you and your boys. No matter what happens, you'll be a family at the end of the day and that's what matters most. God bless!
He does have a point. If China moved on, why can’t UCLA. And by the time LiAngelo gets back he’s not gonna know the system, the offense, the schedule/routines as much as the other players that have been doing it all year long. Thus leading to insufficient minutes (that don’t matter) if any.
Cuomo knows - they have known each other and have been friends for a while - there have been several interviews before this one. They did not just meet.
To mr. Lavar thank you for standing up for your son and not letting other people dictate when he should be forgiven. I agree you done the right thing. Because nobody is perfect everybody makes mistakes. After a heartfelt apology and a lesson learned we should be more forgiving as children of God.
Chad you act like you never made a mistake as a kid. Liangelo had great grades, is a FANTASTIC athlete, with a bright future. Don't hate because your insecure with yourself
You can't blame the coaches for the actions of what your child did. If you taught them right from wrong and they willfully go and steal then they are accountable. When you are abroad you represent the school and held accountable for anything that you do and the school has the right to take action when you get back home. They are lucky as a matter a fact very fortunate. Other countries laws are more severe than ours when it comes to stealing. It's a privilege not a right to attend college and he put his privilege in jeopardy and if they sit them down for the season then so be it.
How many interviews with LaVar will Cuomo keep losing? LaVar is the GOAT of Dads today! Given how black men are treated in the U.S. and the West in general, only black fathers or sons of black Dads really can appreciate this dude. CapoVelli, yes, LaVar keeps winning!
How dare anyone hold Lavar Ball's sons accountable for their criminal behavior. Llevar should ask Michael P. Fay about criminal justice abroad. He knows first hand, because he received a caning in Singapore for the 'no big deal' crime of vandalism. If I were in Lavar's tennis shoes, I would be more concerned that my son's know right from wrong, than seeking interviews with networks that only care about their ratings.
Emmette Gamble trust me after this one Chris definitely wont ever wanna hear anymore of his crazy ass shit. you can tell he actually gave him a second chance to redeem himself and play along but he absolutely fucking blew it and kept being lying ass can't even say thank you ass lavar
CapoVelli or we just see that he can’t even thank Trump or anyone. (doesn’t have to be the president but be thankful or THANK SOMEONE OTHER THAN HIMSELF)’!!
If you keep letting them off the hook they will keep doing the same thing that is why there are so many black men in prison. It is a shameful act and should not be downplayed like its nothing. Whst would you do if it was your child .
@ 2:33 Chris Cuomo has to dip his head behind the "lower third" graphic overlay placed in the title safe area of the television screen because he is laughing his ass off. Watch it again at the 2:33 mark.... Pretty funny
He's right. The Chinese government took what steps they considered necessary, and let them go. That's the punishment for the crime. If it was so minor that they were just released, then there's nothing there to punish them for and it's not the job of UCLA to ruin someone's career to punish them for something that's been dealt with and it's everyone's right to fight for their careers and take whatever action they want to in order to further their careers and not be shit on by a university because it fears for it's own credibility. UCLA's reputation is secondary to the careers of the students.
Because they didn't really get punishment especially being from usa and going to another country to do a crime. They knew they love basketball so punish them that way. But, believe he will pay for it having a dad like that.BIG TIME!!!
At first I thought it was funny.. But watching again, it's just not. Sorry to say but the guy comes off kinda dumb. I really don't get the story here, if he didn't want to thank the idiot in the WH so what .. But, why did be have to meet idiot with idiot, lunacy with lunacy? He had a great chance to say so much ..but he chose to just look as dumb as you know who !! IMO~
I always support lavar . Public should give a kid a break he payed for it . But you can’t blame institute , they have principles . They can’t changes rules for you .
