As a son of a parent who had a life altering stroke, it’s extremely confusing and hard for the whole family. You wonder if your parent will ever get their old selves back again. I saw an interview with a old Boxer who fought Muhammad Ali to a stand still and what he said about Sports made me think and I've come to believe it 100%. Basically what he said was in order to get to that level of sports you have to have nothing everything has to be against you or at least you have to perceive that everything is against you weather true or not. White kids don't have this ability, a White kid grows up thinking he can be a Doctor a lawyer a stockbroker whatever, he believes if he tries hard enough his dreams will come true. Black kids at least the majority don't believe this. They believe from the second they are born the world is racist bigoted and against them. Thus they can't be a Doctor a lawyer whatever no matter how hard they try. But they can be a Sports star they can be in the NBA the NFL that's the one place they can succeed. That's why Sports is dominated by Blacks because unlike Whites and other races who believe it's just a game and they can go home still growing up to be President the Black kids don't believe that. They think if they want to succeed it has to be on the playing field otherwise they will be nothing and doomed to poverty.
