Ali A its funny not u guys specifically not u ali ,its always when someone is awesome do they try to racially claim them fact of the matter is lonzo identifies more with the black american experience and so does his brothers and so does booker,zach levine aaron gordon , and ben simmons if you asked what they are theyd say either im black or im mixed but lightskin. most mixed people are commonly more accepted as being said race in the black community than the white though some people have varying experiences growing up with it as well. Part of it is due to how the african american culture rose into prominence in information age specifically social media and general entertainment for better or worse. Implying its cooler to be black for the aesthetic and imagery of their personality. In the perspective of genetics mixed players will eventually be the best in the league they tend to have the combination of athlete like genetics of blacks and (insert stuff that make white ppl good in the nba) I would say what i they personally have but it would triggger both sides of the racial spectrum. Honestly if we really cared about the survival and the advancement of the human race we pushed interracial breeding

There is a difference between personal level racism and institutional racism Latrice. Yes, he wasn't oppressing white's with his statement so he isn't being institutionally racist. If you actually knew the definition of racism you would see that what he said was racist. Lavar is such a hypocrite.. In one of his interviews, he said, "if you lose, don't blame your teammates or your coach. Blame yourself. Blame yourself for not doing more. There's always more you could have done in the game." What is he doing now that both UCLA and Chino Hills lost? He blamed the coach of Chino Hills and now he blames Lonzo's teammates. They didn't lose because of speed. They lost because of lackluster pick and roll defense. 3/4 of Fox's points came off of pick and roll plays. It really came down to coaching as well. Alford kept them in zone as Willis, Monk, and Fox were scorching. He didn't have confidence in them enough to let them stay in man to man

LaVar is hurting his son's bright future. Because of his dad's pride Lonzo will probably go from the #1 or 2 pick in the first round to the #1 or 2 pick in the second and final round of this year's NBA draft. If you were to ask me Lonzo should stay at UCLA for two more years because he's NOT ready for the pros - at least not yet. That's my take on the matter.
