I’m from Canada and went to law school there. I remember when I was looking for an LSAT course I got recommended this very expensive tutor and he was telling me all about how big a difference which school you went to makes. Didn’t go with him. In Canada, this is far less important. Never understood the US distinction between tiers and all that. In Canada there are kinda like 3-4 schools that might hold you back. Even then I have met excellent lawyers who came out of them and even a few academics. Even in the US, I know a tier 3 school lawyer who is a top partner at a top firm in Wilmington.
