Lawn care in a small town

I live in New Richmond, Wi a town of 11,000 and growing. I now understand what you’re saying after being at it for 9 years.

My hometown has 10k population. This is my 5th year full-time. I do work in 3 other areas near my hometown. Two are at private lakes one is 15 minutes away. I do a full day there and the other lake is another day of work. The 3rd is 9 larger properties in the country they are within 5 minutes. I do 4 days of lawncare. I do landscape projects when i get them. Most are mulch or rock Installation. Quick in and out landscape jobs. I do believe one day ill probably get out of lawncare. It does pay well if you find the right people. From the start i knew it would be hard to scale. The largest lawn care company in my town is a truck with 3 guys Thats it most are solo operators.
