Made a quick trip down to BMP to collect some shock data after changing first gear out. Was able to get 8 passes worth of data collected. Discovered that we had a small issue with car moving right at button release. After I got it home, I discovered some toe out issues on the RH Side that could have been a contributing factor. Did a quick align on it to square it up, and found some minor bump steer deviations as well. I quite confident it's from all dem wheelies tweaking something ...
Just worked on starting line consistency and the 60' stability. Found success and improvements on every pass, knocking down the 60' repeatedly. Played with starting line RPM, launch boost and dump valve closing times. Found what I consider a sweet spot for best -- degraded track conditions which has plagued us. Didn't realize till I started logging the pass data that we picked up a few tenths of PB MPH here on this pass. Light on timing, Light on potential boost through all segments. We just had to find that starting line balance first.
I was far too greedy with the boost ramp on this pass, so it got hampered by some generous wheelie control and a quick pedal so we lost a few numbers to the 330' on this one. Still getting all the power we need from ACE Engines and Forced Induction Turbo, and more MPH than we deserve from this CircleD 264mm unit.
