After NoMercy 14, we removed Alternator which kept giving us problems pitching a belt on decel. Added in a GoLithum 16V System. Move that Alternator Weight (10lbs) 12" forward with ballast in addition to another 12 lbs of Puck Weight and Fuel. Was a lot more aggressive initially on timing ramp to ensure we didn't wheelie. Ended up with a few more PBs back-half and MPH.
Has to be perfect balance with these leafs springs. Too much early power, with not well timed rear extension and she wheelies regardless of weight BIAS. Not enough power early on coupled with more front weight Bias and she'll shake the tire just as the boost is coming in which was brand new to us.
As the night progressed and track was less than "just prepped," we started getting tire shake our around 0.65 second even without significant power additions. Unfortunately, that bit us first round on a mildly dumbed down A-B tune that should have gone down anywhere, on any lane.
