What about Melanie Polowski?? Would they have even tried to commit this crime if it weren’t for her?? Yes…Please follow this case! I’ve been following since the very beginning! Yes, I do agree…all charges at once!
I would appreciate it if you would continue to follow this case. I have watched it from the very beginning. Very frustrated with all the delays. Explaining that would be awesome!
I'd like to know how/why/what criteria is used to determine Lori is "incompetent" to stand trial, but "competent" enough to continue meeting with her attorney Mark Means. I've seen reports that he is doing all sorts of crazy things with motions, accusing the Idaho State dept who is in charge of her "mental health" of all sort of "wrongdoing", based on his "conversations" with Lori.... either she is so incompetent she understands nothing, or the two are playing a charade together... it would seem.
Yeah! I recommended this for the end of the Theranos series. THANK YOU! heard a lot of break downs in this already but I always like all of y'alls takes on your channel!! Thanks for this video and keep 'em coming :) 😊
This is a weird sick case. How can anyone kill their beautiful kids. 😭 I heard it’s supposed to be a cult or something but this isn’t the Wild West with tons of murders & it’s all fine! Great commentary & keep up the great work.
Yeah, you should cover this one! I get what you are saying about “piling on”, but I would also hope there are efforts to simply get justice for ALL victims if guilt is established.
Thank you so much for the update on the case I would love updates on this case as they come. I know they are scheduled to go to trial for at least Chad until next fall
Thanks for your insight...been following this case from before the children were found.. ..disgusting humans Lori & Chad 🤮.....please put this one on you case files we would love to hear your take on it ....btw wth is up with her lawyer 🙈 I think he's falling for her 🤮 wierd attachment to her 🤔
Piling on charges - now I have a question. I know they can't be tried twice for the same crime (double jeopardy) BUT can they "pile on charges" by multiple charges for the same crime? Charge them for murder one, murder two, manslaughter, etc?
I’m confused. What’s the role of the County Attorney? I assumed it was their call as to weather charges would be filed. Please continue your coverage of the trials; it’s so very dark and disturbing!
why no kim potter trial coverage? If you do, check out Nathan Daley's channel. He's a retired police officer out of Atlanta that is great in discussing policing. He is covering that trial and its very interesting. Love to hear your take on the trial and the legal aspects of the case. Lot of drama in between lawyers. Thanks ahead of time. I love your channel and have learned so much. I love your clarity and lack of drama distraction in your explanations.
Jurors can get charges fatigue. When they get so many charges, the jurors look around and say, "Look at all this! Do they even KNOW what this defendant DID?? They're just throwing mud against the wall, hoping something sticks! Maybe we're supposed to juggle these charges, and as they fall one by one, the one that's left is the one we go with. 'Round and around the charges go, and where they stop, nobody knows! I'm gonna fan these charges out like a deck of cards, and you, across the table, pick one. We're in Clown World, where everything gets charged! Charges are like a box of chocolate. You never know which one the defendant did, if any!" Particularly if the trial is long, this Clown World throw-the-sink-in-too of overcharging makes the prosecution look ridiculous. It only takes one juror to say, "You know what? This is a JOKE. Look at all these charges! They don't know what the defendant really did. There's all these charges. I'm gonna say the defendant is Not Guilty, because I don't know at this point."
I don't know anyone, in the former, that's ever been murdered. I don't know anyone who knows anyone that's been murdered, as far as I know, but what in the hell are these people doing out there?
Can Idaho add charges for something that happened in another state? Sounds a wee bit off when put that way. Maybe charges in Arizona and Utah if they ever get out of Idaho.
The prosecutor must stack the charges in case some evidence or testimony collapses in a case. At least the accused can be found guilty of some charges. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket!
Yeah, it’s bullshit to pile on charges just to see what sticks. A general rule is to imagine the act in question being done to an innocent person. It’s disgusting.
LE has more than enough evidence against them for all of the murders and attempted murders. They stupidly left a trail of digital evidence behind including 60 burner phones.
Bring on the charges. Just keeps piling them on. I pray they never see the outside world again. And those who conspired with them getting charged right along with them and also spent time in prison
Thank you for this knowledge in Los Angeles County My Racist white judge out of San Fernando Courthouse sentenced me to 734 days conservative….364 for violating no contact 180 for the first violating no contact 90 and 90 on 2 DUI’s and 30 on a BS disturbing the peace (Ex sleeping with my Mechanic) ALL Misdemeanors…..My POS $5,000 Attorney said that’s the “Best” you would have gotten cause the Racist Judge and City Attorney was charging 8 counts of violating no contact ( cause I wanted to see my kids) during my court order visitation….FYI Criminal court supersedes FAMILY court that my idiot attorney said I was looking at 8 YEARS each Misdemeanor court the maximum of 364 days EACH….That’s what we call here a “County Year” you serve 6 months on each so 4 years on Misdemeanors….FYI You can Rob a bank with NO GUN it’s FELONY and only get 3 years…Thank you for your service guys
What am I getting wrong? I thought prosecution has to prove motive. Like, this is why they did it or tried to do it. I thought, without proving motive, anything else is heresay.
