You asked: Please review Melanie Gibbs interview especially where she is explaining to LE the reason why she texted Lori and Chad in the middle of the night. She claims her bf (David) had a nightmare. Please be earnest with your personal opinion to why a grown woman (Gibb) would text Lori the same night that JJ goes missing especially when Gibb and BF were kadoodling in Lori's house. Why didnt they just go wake her up if really needed her? and, why text Chad over a grown mans so-called nightmare in the wee hours of the night?

She's just lying as usual. Money is she only concern. Could care less about Charles. Haha Charles got aware just how crazy she was and no money for her. That is so great!

My only lack of enthusiasm of that response is, if Lori HAD gotten the money, MAYBE, just maybe (?) the kids wouldn't have been killed? A million dollars to feel rich enough to let kids live? Part of Lori acting out with JJ I believe was to get back at Kay (zombie takeover aside) because Lori was so pissed at her. Just a thought. Coulda woulda shoulda might've. Never know. Poor Charles and Tammy as well.

@@gregorysullivan7175 Maybe, If Charles had informed Lori that she was no longer the beneficiary of his life insurance policy, he might have escaped with his life. Maybe she would have abandoned JJ to Charles, and eloped with Chad.

Thank you. Teeheehee I am so glad Charles was smart enough to change the beneficiary before he died, maybe if he had of told Lori he might still be alive. I think I’ve already listened to all the police interviews at least twice!!

I think he thought that Lori would abandon JJ again(she took off for a few months before). I don’t think he could bring himself to really believe she would kill him. She still might have killed him for spite if she knew the beneficiary was changed. She for sure would have accused him of child abuse as she did Joe Ryan.

I’d love a breakdown of the audio call by Chandler Police with ADAM Cox, Lori’s other brother. Just listened to it today & it’s so interesting because he’s a blood relative who’s sticking up for Charles & her 3rd husband Ryan. It fills in a lot of gaps for LE.

@@KCTeri Yes! That's a great interview and it really does pull a lot of things together because he was right there when it all went down. Another good one in that batch is when the police talked to Charles his friend and lawyer... at one point they were talking about the insurance and possible forgeries? There might be more to come in this case...

If the insurance claim is denied to a nominated beneficiary who was involved in the deceased's homicide, is it denied completely or does it benefit the estate and get distributed through the residuary clause / intestacy rules?

I also saw that Charles Attorney called the chandler police after Charles death. It seems like the insurance was changed yet another time after Kay to benefit his sons but I can not understand the phone call. There was some conversation that it remitted to Lori or that maybe they needed to check the handwriting with a specialist and verify the notary. Please post a follow up if you get information on that or if you understood that particular phone call.

Yes! I just saw that interview and I'm wondering what the heck?! ... but I couldn't make out what was said. It sounds like the cop said that either way Lori doesn't get anything so that's good news.

Don't insurance companies have to contest claims made by acquitted beneficiaries through civil court where burden of proof is less, or would the beneficiary have to sue?

I thought it was true that if a person lied on their life insurance application that the insurance still had to pay out the full amount of the claim if it’s been over two years since you started Insurance policy.

*It seems to me if you remove someone as the life insurance beneficiary because you’re worried about them killing you that you should probably let them know they are no longer the beneficiary. There could be times when that’s not necessary the best way to handle it, but I feel like that’s often the best way to handle it the majority of time. Because of Laurie knew she wasn’t going to collect a large sum of money then she might not have killed him (or had him killed).*

Tylee's interview with police after Charles death. Question; people in the comments were saying that the interview could be used to Lori's defense... is this true? ...or will it be unadmissable as Tylee cannot be cross-examined for obvious reasons.

Seems wrong for the insurance company to be able to refuse paying out to someone who was suspected but not found guilty! That shouldn't be legal in my opinion.

Anonymous Annie, the reason Lori was denied the claim was because Chad had changed his life insurance beneficiary. Lori didn’t know this at the time she called the insurance company. She only learned about it when the insurance company investigated and found out she was no longer the beneficiary.

@@shellyshannon5226 Ohh ok. Well that makes sense. But in the video he also said that sometimes insurance companies can and will refuse to pay out if the spouse is ever investigated, even if found not guilty by law and thats messed up imo.

You couldn’t explain this in a few minutes and have it make sense. It requires an entire video in itself. It’s very complicated and requires visual charts. Let’s just say Chad wife is suspiciously dead after he had ‘premonitions’ of her dying. Chad had Loris two kids buried in his backyard. Oh Chad is an ex gravedigger/ end of times author. Married Lori two weeks after his wife’s death. He wrote a light and dark list. Loris ‘dark’ husband was killed by her brother Alex. Alex ‘Also dark’ is now dead. Attempted murder of her nieces ‘also dark’ husband Brandon. Lots of couples broke up and moved near Chad and remarried into an insurance claiming cult where everyone was declared light or dark. The dark people died like flies.
