Note: Before you buy your Vinyl, make sure you do the peel test. Peel the paper off just a little to make sure the glue hasn't been activated, you'll be able to tell if the glue is sticking to the paper as you peel. Do this with each box that you are planning to buy. Last but not least, make sure you put down some TEC TEC Skill Set 1-Quart Indoor Primer on the clean wood floor before laying Vinyl. Its an extra step but I promise you'll have a better adhesion!!!!
Also sometimes I share this, the Bible says that GOD loves us so much that he sent his son JESUS CHRIST to this earth and HE lived a perfect sinless life. And JESUS went to a cross and gave HIS life for us.And rose again in 3 days and who ever will receive JESUS AS THEIR SAVIOR AND ASK HIM TO COME INTO THEIR HEART AND FORGIVE THEIR SINS,HE WILL TAKE YOU TO HEAVEN.
DO NOT put peel and stick tiles directly onto bare plywood NO MATTER how smooth it is!!! this is the worst advice - SERIOUSLY, TAKE this video down, for real. If you don't lay down a primer or sealant of some kind... the FIRST time water splashes out onto your floor, that tile will peel right ThA Fk up!! i know i sound like an a-hole, but i'm an OLD, experienced Ahole - DON'T listen to this guy! "The More You Know!" :-)
what do you mean primer or sealer? like paint the floor ish? my lynoleium i just pulled off was super glued to the floor i was planing to use adhesivein addition to what sticky crap these come with as who knows how well that works anyway
Thank you so much for this! I have done every trade except for flooring, and I am doing my first bathroom floor this month! Its a remanufactured home and the owner wants peel and stick. I wasn't sure how to start off and this is very simply put! 😊
if any one sees this, and can answer pls do....i have cats, a couple are old. if they were to have an accident????should i use any type of seams sealer? or???
The walls may not be straight which will throw off the pattern of the tiles. Also you will end up with having to cut a piece and our it to join the others which will look horrible. Which is why you start from the middle so you can use those lines which are straight to get a good pattern then when you get to the walls you can cut them flush with the wall which will look way better.
If u need to cut tilez then its not in the center which can be lpok jorrible.its always good idea that cutting be hidden by bed cabnetvor table by placing in the corner
He never addressed how to get around the dust issue with laying over plywood. The actual laying process is the same as it would be on any other surface...
@@fernandogarza4231 Ahh... no worries. I think the main point is to make sure that whatever the tile is being laid over... it needs to be dust/dirt and debris free 😀
