LDP: 24 inch mini pumper with Don't Trip Slalocybins (スケートボードパンピング)

I set up mini pumper with Don't Trip Slalocybins and leftover parts that was sitting in my closet. To compensate its short wheelbase, I mounted rear truck in reverse position(reverse mounted).

Front Truck: Don't Trip Slalocybins 125mm
Front Bushing: APS 60a barrel BS/WFB 68a cone RS
Rear Track: Don't Trip Slalocybins 100mm
Rear Bushing: KranK 83a barrel BS/Reflex 74a barrel RS(caption in the video was incorrect)
Wheels: Tunnel Krakatoa 70mm 78a(again, caption in the video was incorrect...)
Wheelbase: 20 inchs(50.5cm)
Weight: 6.2lb(2.8kg)

Wow, that article you shared in that last comment is amazing! So glad I stumbled upon it. I love a smaller board, and you are flying on that bad boy! I'm about to get a smaller set up with Slalocybins and I feel confident in tweeking the angles (reverse the rear truck, What!? So great) to get more speed and coast!

This is cool! Do you have a preferred top mount deck length? I am tempted to throw my LDP trucks on my shorter surfskate decks to experiment now.

Thank you for your comment. I prefer shorter decks for top mounts. The longest top mount deck I own is the 31-inch Bossa Urbano. I've transferred all the components from the 24-inch mini to the Bossa Urbano. While I'm pleased with the Bossa Urbano setup, I sometimes miss the 24-inch mini because it was more fun for pumping, even though the Bossa Urbano is more comfortable to ride.

Great Video bro! Didnt know that you cud pump on a mini like this! Ive just started longboarding and what im wishing to learn is pumping. My board is a regular drop-through type with default trucks. Can you please tell me what is the minimal upgrade I can do to turn this board into a semi-pumping machine (semi-cause i know the ultimate pumper is the LDP type) Or is it just impossible to pump a regular longboard? Hope you can give me any tips. Do more videos bro!!

Thank you for your comment and sorry for the late response. I don't have any experience with setting up drop-though deck for pumping. I think it is possible but I don't know how easy/difficult to wedge/de-wedge trucks on drop-through deck. If you can make the pivot angle of front track to somewhere between 55 - 60 degree and rear truck to below 20 degree then, I think you can make your board into a pumping machine. @@RyukyuPumpers 個人輸入ですか。とても高価なのでビックリです。Slalom とシロcybin 🍄を合わせたサイケデリックな名前も凄いですね。乗ってるだけでブッ飛んでしまいそうですが、メーカー名が『ぶっ飛んじゃ、ダメ』なので、ここでは真面目な質問をします。ハンガー幅を好みで変更できるようですが、それはスペーサーの配置で調節するのでしょうか？もし一番狭いセッテイングにした場合、Axle Shaft がウィールの外側にはみ出すことは有りますか？

メーカー名のDont Tripは転ぶのTripと飛ぶののTripかけてるんでしょうね。ハンガー幅の調整ですが、幅の違う3種類のスペーサーが付いてくるので調整はスペーサーの配置で行います。一番狭いセッティングだとスペーサー無しですが、その場合ははみ出たaxel shaftにスペーサーをかましてからナットで締めます。全体の写真なのでちょっとわかりにくいですがホイールの外側にスペーサーかましてるのが分かると思います。→　bit.ly/3wHIGVH LDP/パンピング用のパーツ類は需要がないのかほぼ個人輸入するしかないんですよね…。ブッシュやホイールもXtremeさんに無ければほぼ個人輸入しています。値段に関してはスケートボード用のトラックにしては結構いいお値段しますが、LDP用のトラックではセッティングしやすいので人気のあるトラックです。precision truckになるとどうしても高くなってしまいますね。

@@RyukyuPumpers 詳しい説明、有難う御座います。「つまずくな」とか「飛ぶな」とか、小うるさいメーカーですが(笑)、削り出しのトラックは男のメカ心が刺激されますね。このボードではリアよりフロントの方が幅広いHangerの物を使っているようですが、その方がPumpingがやり易いのでしょうか？

リア側の幅を狭くするのはほぼ見た目的な理由ですね。あとはプッシュした時に誤ってリアのホイールを蹴ってしまうのを防ぐ効果もあります。特にパンプしやすくなるわけではないですよ。

By mounting rear truck in reverse position, you can have negative pivot angle(-20* in this case) so that you can have larger turning radius. Please refer to this blog article.
