The best way to kill a language is to teach it at school. The Irish know that well enough. Schools focus on grammar, with nowhere near enough focus on listening. They turn language into a dull academic chore. School made me hate the French language. I hadn’t a clue what was going on. Now I can understand this video thanks to hard work and enthusiasm. In fact, French is fun.
