Long John Baldry recorded 'Good Morning Blues,' for the first time, at the age of eighteen, as a demo, in 1958. Subsequent recordings of the song, both live and in-studio, would feature on various Baldry albums over the years. The most notable recording is featured on Baldry's Stony Plain Records album, 'Remembering Leadbelly.'
Another fabulous recording of the song can be found on the Doug Cox album, 'Bone, Bottle, Brass, or Steel,' from 1996.
Long John would also play the song live on television in 1991 with his old friend Spencer Davis.
