My cheesy, bloody, llama-tinged homage to the 2018 Leadville 100 Trail Run. That's 7 buckles in 7 years, but it wasn't pretty. Many thanks to my pacers, John Rainey, George Zack and Lesley Cortright. And my crew, they patched me up and got me to the finish in under 30 hours. 5 falls this year . . . less than my PR of 7 in 2014, but the quality of the falls was impressive this year. 50% of the starters finished the trek from 10,200' Leadville over a couple mountain passes to Winfield.
