Condolence for your loss Paul, Expensive razor the twig around £50, and if you want the stand of it that's another £15 granted not as much as some but if you are on a budget, expensive enough. Am a fan of Taylor's shaving cream hard to beat. Choice two I would go for, come Sunday lunchtime only if I had to choose both sound yummy. Anyway thanks Paul, enjoy the rest of your Sunday that goes to everyone.

That’s true. But the Twig can stand up on its own, so it isn’t really necessary to buy the stand.

SOTD will be Tabac creme with Tabac aftershave with Sandlewood witch hazel. Talk of your Aunt got me thinking about my late Grandfather so I've chosen the Tabac as it was one of his favourites. Have a great Sunday Mr and Mrs H.

Kouros has always been in a white bottle, but there have been flankers with blue bottles. Great, timeless fragrance, one of my absolute favorites, gets a little bit of a bad rep because some people think that it smells too animalic. I like it, it has a lot of personality and it's just classically manly, and definitely a good shaving scent.

The scent of Mr. Taylor is like traditional shaving cream...an aromatic fougere. I'm about to finish off a tub after having used it nonstop for the last couple of months. It's nice.

The intro music suites Mrs H flowers because they ARE heavenly! I personally don't own a Leaf Twig but I see it becoming one of those razors regarded as vintage in a few decades from now. I do have the Avocado TOBS shave cream and my skin doesn't go well with it. For some reason I have a rash reaction whenever I use it. I don'r know if it's the fragrance ingredient they put in it. A colorful start to your Sunday shave...thanks to Mrs. H. My SOTD was an all-Stirling "Margaritas of the Arctic" cold water shave...soap, witch hazel, balm, and splash...using my Rockwell 6S with an Astra Green (2nd use). Those mentholated shaves are so refreshing on a warm summer day. I also enjoy shave creams. I have TOBS sandalwood in the tube. But Geo F Trumper is my favorite. You're having another tasty Sunday MOTD...whichever one you choose. Enjoy. Wednesday will be here in a blink.

Hey Paul great Sunday shave. The weather here is raining for the next few days. I'm hoping it's going to cool things down. SOTD Merkur 34G with a Nacet blade. TOBS Sandle Wood shaving cream. Brush will be your new brush. Like you said I can't stop looking at it too. The leather bowl is from The Thirsty Badger Shave Company. Aftershave splash will be Floids Vigoroso and Rocky mountain Sandle Wood Balm. Today my wife and I will be going to an antique market. Looking for those old wet shaving items...lol. Take care

Nice shave. I am surprised about TOBS Avocado... I get lots of scent from it.... very fresh and clean. It probably is my favorite from the TOBS varieties I've tried. My SOTD: Karve Overlander Aluminum with first use Personna Lab Blue blade, Prometheus Handcrafts brush with Declaration Grooming B14 badger knot, Murphy & McNeil Nanthala frosted version soap and aftershave. MOTD: Cheeseburgers with pepper jack cheese, sautéed onions, home cut and roasted steak fries and cole slaw.

Smooth shave Paul🪒🪒 Thank you Mrs H for another wonderful display of color, always appreciated. The Leaf razor seems to do its job with no issues. TOBS creams are top shelf in performance and scent IMO, always a good choice. SOTD: PAA Cube, B&M "Sandalwood" soap/splash/balm, RazoRock "Hive" brush, PAA Cu "Ascension" DOC razor w/KAI blade, alum and witch hazel...Glorious! Condolences losing your aunt. Nice shave. Sorry about your Aunt. I have the Leaf Thorn in prism which I like. SOTD was Stirling Dunshire with the Karve CB aluminum oc c plate. Gillette 7oclock black 3rd. use. Thayers Lavender witch hazel and Nivea sensitive balm. Nautica Voyage Sport. MOTD beef roast and veges. Want a Rolls-Royce razor. Suggestions ? Thanks.

Great looking shave with the Twig, my favorite SE razor. Lovely floral display from Mrs.H once again! I've yet to try those Euromax SE blades in the Leaf, soon. TOBS creams always give me great lather results with very little effort. Take care and keep safe.👍🤠🤟

Nice shave as always. I really like that leaf razor. Its one im wanting to get. Been changing my routine up a bit. Been getting used to a shavette, which i still need work on lol. Great shave again. My sotd was my parker 96r with a shark blade. I used tobac soap and proraso red after shave and balm as a close. You and mrs h have a great sunday

Searching for the scent of classic Gillette Foam, I have read that Mr. Taylor's was a very close match. Are you familiar with the old canned Gillette Foam? Would you agree? To me that would be the perfect barbershop scent.
