Sage is the reason why we see characters come back after they were killed in previous cinematics, basically all abilities are canon, it only differs how they work (Reyna being able to dismiss and heal at the same time without ult, killjoy's turret moving around, etc) so Sage just res them after the mission is over, that's why canonically she doesn't go in missions as often as other agents do, because she is the only one that can res them.

As for why they are stealing radianite, there are 2 Earths as shown in Duality; the one on the left is Alpha, and the other is Omega. Omega is suffering from serious climate change to the point where Lisbon, Portugal (the place where Pearl is set on) is completely flooded. They are also running critically short on radianite. Therefore, with Omega being more technologically advanced than Alpha, they made a teleporter to go to Alpha and steal the radianite there for survival. From the last cinematic, we know Omen was a part of Shrouded Step. Not too sure about specifics but I'm guessing it is a kind of assassination group or something similar. Iso was formerly a part of it and was tasked with killing Omen. Omen, before he became Omen, was tasked with killing Viper and got close to her by acting as friends/coworkers. Omen failed and Viper threw a vial of acid on his face in self defense. You can say that it was the reason Omen's face has 3 lines, from the 3 lines of acid going down his face when he was turned into Omen. Once Omen became what we know today, he lost his memories and is trying to find out who he was. In this cinematic, he found his old boss and went to confront him about it and he suddenly remembered the events that led to his transformation. At the end of the cinematic, I doubt Omen is going to be aggressive towards Viper. He probably just wants to ask questions and is a bit hurt that Viper knew Omen's past and didn't tell him, even though his entire goal is to know his past.

Quick comment about 16:55 At this point, it was a BIG meme in the valorant communitty that Riot Games always killed cypher in their trailers, so they embraced it on this one I know it may not seem that much, like "but it only happened on the icebox one" but it's not just the cinematics, it's the agent trailers, gameplay ones, the beta release trailer, etc. So yeah, people laughed a lot with this cinematic end

i belive that omen originally was not part of kingdom, but an assassin, and was attempting to kill viper, who then accidentally scars his face with acid, in a panic she activates a machine (im speculating at this point) thinking it would lock him into that container, but didn't realize it would activate it too, which then ends up turning him into what he is now and wiping his memories i dont think viper INTENDED to turn him into what he is, but also may not even KNOW that its the same person as perhaps he disapeared or something we dont really fully know this story yet

If I remember correctly, there are 2 Earths. Alpha Earth and Omega Earth. Omega Earth is trying to steal radianite from Alpha Earth using the Spike. (Omega Earth has radianite shortage due to using most of it to fight climate change as shown in ep 5) In game, the defenders you play as are Alpha Earth Agents. Attackers are Omega Earth Agents. (Hence the "clones") As for Omen lore, he was an assasin sent to kill viper. But he failed and got turned into a phantom. Hence, why his greatest failure now holds your leash.

Astra and harbor were the Alpha versions trying to get into Lotus on Omega earth (alpha's Lotus was completely destroyed, it was so damaged that Harbor couldn't even get close to it when he worked for Realm)

The 'explotion' when the Spike detonates is not in fact an explosion. It is actually all the gathered Radianite being transported from from Alpha Earth to Omega Earth or vice versa (in the case of Pearl, since Pearl is a map located on Omega Earth) The idea behind Valorant's gameplay is the Valorant Protocol (from Alpha Earth) facing the Valorant Legion (from Omega Earth) trying to 'steal' Radianite from the opposing world. In most maps the 'Attackers' are the Valorant Legion and the defenders are the Valorant Protocol, except on Pearl.

You are reading it correctly, Viper is the one who created Omen, hence one of her voicelines which is, an I'm paraphrasing i wont pretend i remember but its something like keep yourself together Ja... I mean Omen... implying she knows his name before he became Omen, which no-one else, not even Omen, knows. Also, Viper and Reyna have beef because Reyna is trying to trust Viper to help her sister but Reyna doesn't believe it will help. Reyna kills in order to protect her younger sister.

respawning isnt canon its fenix ult witch allows him to come back if he dies after ult activation

you missed the agent cinematics, it fills in the gaps of the lore between cinematics. also the cinematic for the Lotus map also show what happens directly after Harbor and Astra's encounter

viper didnt create omen viper i think omen died while doing some experiments and when sage tried to revive him he only came back as a shadow. but i might be wrong so dont completely believe me

Sabine ”Viper” and Omen were friends and coworkers at Kingdom Corporation prior to what happened to them. They were in-laws, Viper's husband being Omen's brother and Viper's kids being his niece and nephew. The incident that caused Omen's pain is linked to what happened with Viper's family.
