Yep. I remember the early days of CCR and every song he wrote was a major hit. He wrote great music, great lyrics, and his singing voice was amazing. Talent like that is very rare. I hope he continues for many more years.

Over 60 years ago since he started working as a musician. There was life before CCR.

Well said. There are about a half dozen black podcasters who say that "racism" does not exist. They blame the Democratic party who after losing the civil war (yes, they were the confederates) has consistently tried to keep the blacks on the plantation. They even (yes the Democrats) started the Ku Klux Klan to convince the blacks there is racism; and, guess what, it is the Democrats who are the racists and they are successfully causing a divide between the white and the black peoples of this country. They also have convinced many white folks to believe that there is what is called "white privilege" and that they are convincing them that they must kneel before the blacks to apologize and give them monetary reparations. If you believe that people should get a fair shake in life then you believe black lives matter. That is all it is saying, black lives matter. Does not mean that other lives do not matter. If you talk the the protesters they do not like the looting, but they also don’t like black males getting killed.
