San Francisco Conservatory of Music Professor Daria Novoliantceva teaches a private 1:1 lesson to SFCM Technology and Applied Composition (TAC) student Joi Marchetti.

Graduates of SFCM's Technology and Applied Composition (TAC) program have composed music for Super Bowl commercials, popular video games, and independent films, become successful recording artists, music producers, and are employed by companies like Sony, Spitfire Audio, Electronic Arts, and Ubisoft. This program is home to film and video game scoring, audio engineering, sound design, music production, electronic music, and custom instrument building. SFCM's TAC program provides artists a cutting-edge skillset ready to take on the music industry of today.
Daria Novo is a Russian composer, arranger, and orchestrator working mainly in scoring for films and animation, as well as music for theater. Novo is currently a professor of music composition at Technology and Applied Composition in SF Conservatory of Music, and is writing music for mobile games, television, and theaters in the US and Russia. In 2018 Novo was commissioned to write music for highly anticipated world premiere of SF Ballet’s Choreographer in Residence Yuri Possokhov. Other recent projects Novo has orchestrated include Netflix's One Piece.
