Learn from my mistakes! 2020 Kubota BX23s Backhoe Removal..(Almost a Catastrophe!)

Haha! Yes, the first few times removing it are sketchy. I remove it every time I remove snow (with the bucket) because the backhoe takes weight off the front wheels, making it hard to steer. I put it back on right after clearing snow. I got really good at it last winter - off in under two minutes, back on in under three.

Funny! I'm really looking forward to getting my new 2680 out of storage and prepping my new building pad!

You did great! LOL, I have had my BX25D for 6 years now. I still struggle with it. One time it went crooked on me and I think the loops the big pins go into are bent. I have to use a hammer to get them in and out. Takes 30 minutes fiddling to align them each separately. Plus the hydro lines never want to reattach. Wiggling all the controls to release the pressure does not help. Sometimes I go away after an hour of frustration and have to come back and try again.

I welded tabs on the front & rear of my dolly and glued carpet pieces, almost impossible to not align it perfectly.

I see you like to play with dolly's! Ha! Ha! ( just joking : ) Dolly's are a great way to move things around and they help when you put it back on too : ) Great video I like it. Oh I Subed too!

HAHA, about as bad as the first time I tried removing the loader on my BX2680. Thought the whole thing was going to end up on the ground...even as I was reading the instructions step by step. Yeah umm, loader removal in a minute or less, nope not I LOL....it was more like 7-10 minutes...Doubt I'll ever take it off again, it was the day I took delivery of it, and thought I'd try removing the loader to see how it was done, yeah, I don't see any need to take it off for anything I do, pretty much one of the main reasons I bought the tractor in the first place was for the loader.
