Is there some special Rope for these kind of variations in Skipping as the one I have at Gym is quite tight and doesn't loop freely..which one should I buy and particular specification ?
You should land on the toe balls with knees bent slightly....if you land like as shown in the video it will show more impact on joints. SKIPPING IS FUN.....if you do it wrongly...u will have devastating effects.

I am also doing skipping rope but not on the hard cemented place but on the soft place having soil or grassy path I also advice u don't do this on cemented or hard place because it is harmful for joints,spine,for the bones

Skipping and Jogging are not recommended when you are over weight.. it might cause knee and back pain.. so follow these steps: 1. Reduce some kilos/pounds by at least 30 minutes of walking + weight training 2. Eat healthy food 3. Once your legs and overall body is strong enough coz of weight training.. start 30 minutes of run-walk workout.. where you walk for a min.. run/jog for a min.. do this for 30 mins 4. By this time you should have lost some fat.. gained muscles and become stronger.. this is the time you should start jogging and skipping Hope this helps :D

For faster results try double skips in one jump , it will give you much faster results ....if you're an intermediate then try mixing techniques like side skips , cross and double unders together way faster results

What do I do if I'm overweight and get lower calf pain when jumping rope? I can jump rope without discomfort for regular bunny hops and ali shuffle, but when doing high knees with the jump rope my lower calves hurt bad afterwards. Help!

Hello I recently started skipping , as a biginner , i try almost 30 mins of skipping with regular bounce and try single foot jumps .. is this time okay to start with ? or i shud reduce the time ? as i told u , 30 mins skipping i feel lot of pain in body specially calves and ankles ..plz suggest me a good schedule as a biginner .. I am doing 85 regular bounce jump per 30 seconds and also doing this exercise for 35 minutes. I prefer to take 30 seconds break during jumping. So, my question is to you it is good or not?
