I still have a pair of them. Used to like them but I found the cartridge was so wide it was hard to drop the needle onto the cue stickers accurately. I’ve not used them for years now. I don’t really have any opinion about them being discontinued as I don’t use them. I actually mainly scratch with Serato without needles using Phase DJ Controllers.
@@DJFurio Oh, ok. It’s been my go-to for so long, don’t really know where to start looking for an alternative. In fact, I don’t really need a scratch needle, more in the market for a mix needle for sampling. Any suggestions?
Yes. The main reason is so you don’t catch your hands on the tonearm. It’s even more important when beat juggling as it would make it really difficult going between the 2 decks if they weren’t sideways.
