Another brilliant video that shows once again how much sampling is not only finding a loop and putting a beat to it (even if finding a good and rare loop is already a task in itself). I always thought about Preemo as a paradox : basically he samples Jazz and Funk, but sometimes he give those samples a kind of "Electro" treatment (which make me think he could have been an excellent House Music producer as well). I think especially about "Mass Appeal", which is a very short sample from an Jazz-Funk track with decreased speed and pitch that finally sound like an almost electronic track : hope we'll see it soon in one of your next videos ! 😉
