@@Cobra83. you don’t have to shrink it but you will fight fingers for the rest of the day so you might as well take the 2 mins to shrink it you will spend less time on the windows in the long run
You mean hit it with the torch thank god I dab I keep it by my side lmao and I car wrap also I didn’t know you needed to shrink it thanks G is that after you put the tint on the window
@@Swag-ts8rf it's not a myth, if you don't shrink it with a heat gun then it'll have fingers crawling up, and down from the top of the window, separating the tint and making it look like shit. If you shrink it with a heat gun you can roll it down immediately.
Just don't roll your window down for 24-48 hours if you don't want to be a dumb ass. If you want to be "so different" then go ahead and roll em down immediately and defeat the purpose of getting tint to begin with.
Bro he makes it look so easy. This is the guy that I tried to learn off of watching videos and every single time I finally got a small window. There was always a little tiny dust mobile behind it I do the water I have it saturated enough and still somehow I end up with a couple dust bubbles. I don’t understand how he does it flawlessly.
Yep it's not easy. I have a fully equipped garage too. Removed the door cards ect, cleaned the glass. Couldn't cut it to size to save my life. Mega pissed so put it back together with no tints on 😂
Ayo I was about to try because I saw this video and thought oh he did great no heat dry shrink thing we good get the kit come home and read the comments fuck me $20 vs $220 ! Sheesh I’ll be calling the shop back now or should I still try to master this without shrinking it or do you really have to?
The only thing I'll be tinting is my blood pressure trying to get some cheap Walmart crap on my car. Better save the aneurysm and let professionals handle it.
How you think the pros started, with 100$ premium tint? No with some cheap 10$ Walmart film, all because you gave up on this easily doest mean other will 🤦
You forgot to shrink also. Once you get your cuts around the window to shape out the tint, you’ll be left with various fingers on the bottom, that need to be heated. You’ll need to angle the heat gun, and go down the finger in a side to side motion, once the finger looks squiggly, give it a nice hit with the Hard card, and continue to do so on each finger until you are left with a solid piece of tint flat on the glass.
man i don’t care about the window tint aesthetic but these videos make me want to try it ! seeing someone displaying their craft in an easy to understand and kind way is so cool
Out of hundreds of videos you is the best you’re quick you don’t dillydally you get to the point you’re good my window tinting has been sitting on my desk for a year and a half. I’m still afraid to put it on.
This is what I am talking about they trying to give you 10 minutes tinting window lesson before they can get to the point thanks man for straight up talk and easy tools usage.
Legit after watching this video and your shrinking video I praticed tinting my enire station wagon including windshield and back glass till it was perfect. I bought a roll of tint and do cars in my neighborhood now as a side gig and make about an extra $500 per weekend for like a few hours of my time. Also learned ppf and wrapping (hoods, trunks, n roofs mainly)
I totally appreciate this video because after watching ALL of your YT Shorts I'm confident in this product (that I've been curious about for years) as well as the knowledge that you've bestowed upon me, to do this myself!
Tinted my own windows my Chevy blazer years ago with no bubbles. Granite you did forget to mention you have to shrink it with a dryer. But it really is easy. I feel like folk make everything seem impossible. It's really this easy if you really want to save money but I'm also very good with my hands so it think it just depends on determination.
I first tried 10 years ago with this guy video instructions. For some reason his instructions were easy to comprehend. So I bought professional tools he recommended and BOOM! Turned out Great & easy to complete. At the start I did it regularly $$$ Now days only for my friends for I still enjoy the achievement of the final product. YOU CAN DO IT!!! Professional tools are the key
Look I know how to window tint and I still take it to someone that does it everyday. It is not the same when someone does it for a living. They just have a have a way of doing what they do.
Window tint is like drywall work they make it look so easy then you to do it yourself and it looks like shit or worse it looks great for the moment until the imperfections show 😂
You lost me when you switched to the inside of the window 😅also when you roll the window down with the sheet on it; was that just to hold the sheet down or was it stuck already? I can’t tell what’s what tbh
I'm all about letting folks tackle on a diy project... they'll appreciate the process much more and realize there are some skills that should be left to the professionals.
In my experience that Walmart tint on a roll stuff. Always hazes up, goes cloudy, or goes purple. Not to mention if it does cloud up, now you have to pay more for them to remove it
Been doing this for years. More or less successfully. But the cheep tint dont stay dark. Might get good install but the tint faded almost 50% of what it was after a few years
mine didn’t come out too bad half top came out perfect second half not so good bc when rolling down window it smooshed it but gonna try until i get it perfect 👍
