Learner Had No Idea He'd FAILED With So Many Driving Faults 

Thank you for the videos, passed my test earlier today with only 4 minors. And the course really helped me understand everything properly.

Passed my driving test yesterday with 4 minors. I have never had a formal driving lesson or been out with a driving instructor. Just my mum and a metric tonne of your videos - THANK YOU!

I cried when I failed my mock test days before the real test but passed with only 3 minors last Tuesday. Confidence that you will pass is everything, don’t dwell too much on failing the mock

I passed my driving test on Wednesday 11th August with no faults. If anyone has a test coming up my advice would be watch these videos they do help a lot and make you more aware on the roads and if you have a car and someone who can go out with you do it as it helped me a look good luck 👍

I passed my test in South Africa what's crazy is that these videos actually helped me with my test because we do 5 Parkings + inclined before we go to the road.

Personally I think it's a bit too tricky to realize that the truck was parked instead of in traffic, especially from that distance. I think it's a bit unfair that it warrants a serious fault. Probably just me though

The young man is quite a good driver only few things to improve ,observation if he was a good observant he could definitely pass because he is confident and able to control vehicle well ,clutch brake , accelerator and gear excellent only mirrors for observation and round about otherwise I enjoyed. In Kenya he could pass ,when i was in driving school we use to be told good driver must have three eyes normal and mirrors.

He's a natural driver, all the best to him! I do find that the faults that arise on this channel are so meticulous that it's hard to gather whether or not the faults are actually safe or not. This is because there is no video footage of the rear view mirror. So are the serious faults that come up on the video *actual* serious driving faults? They won't be marked as serious if there aren't any drivers behind you. Pin, I understand that you are picking up on every single fault or mishap for the cause of others learning, and at first I thought that you were being a D***, but anyone out there watching who is a learner - if you follow the DGN Driving Schools advice then you will definitely be the ultimate driver. Learnt loads from you Pin, cheers from Folkestone! Would you consider asking a driving assessor from a different town coming on? Would be great to see if they pick up on as many faults as you do.

At 15.10. I still say that was wrong. Lane 1 is marked with a left arrow, which indicates 1st left. So Joe was correct to move to lane 2, then once passed the 1st exit then mirror, signal change lane and turn. There is even a white van waiting to emerge from the first exit which may have moved out in front of Joe had he been in lane 1.

Can finally be one of the people who have passed their test but still watch these videos. Passed first time on Monday with 2 minors. My advice to anyone taking their test is don't overthink it, it's easier than you think. Don't rush your decisions, if you're not sure to go or wait then wait and don't take the risk because hesitation is only a minor as long as its not over the top. Also be confident because examiners want to see you are a safe driver but also a confident driver. :)

Have my test on Friday and my driving instructor has to self isolate so I'm going to have no lessons until the actual day (haven't had lessons for 9 days now) so these videos hopefully will help me in the meantime

Honestly that roundabout with the left lane would’ve caught me, I probably would’ve chose middle lane too

I have been watching this channel for some time now and there’s one thing that really beats me…I do not live in the UK and this system of traffic lights really confuse me. Can anybody explain what’s the use of having traffic lights if you have to wait in the middle of the junction?! Beats the purpose of the light if you have to actually wait for a gap right? From where I come, you have a separate lane with a separate traffic light if you want to turn and a separate lane or lanes for going straight.

I've failed twice.. And the last test she failed me because I just touched the chevron lines on the floor coming off a roundabout due to a car pulling past me too quick 😩 fuming

Compared to victoria Australia, in the british mock test looks like you can pick a mistake like a grape off a vine, in my test i backed into the gutter and went over the gutter twice and still passed somehow

He seemed a bit annoyed with himself, but those looked like easily fixable faults. Hopefully he passes the real thing.

Some of the faults were just unfortunate incidents such as the parked lorry and the speeding - it didn't help that all the vehicles around him were speeding so it's easier to speed in those circumstances

Quick question so at 9:05 when he goes over those lines turning to warsal, was he allowed to do that because i got a fail from my driving instructor for doing that

15:42 idk, seems pretty harsh that that he got a serious for using the middle lane. Plus, if he had taken the left lane, that white van that's stopped over the give way line blocking the lane a bit there would have forced him to slow down, move over to the middle or stop.

16:00 he should probably have waited for the car in front of him, since he's making a right turn.

I can now say I watch these videos for fun. I passed my test 2nd time with 3 minors with the help of these videos.

You know whats wild? Had he been in the proper lane at 15:40 to take the second left, that big white van would've been blocking his route, making his manouvere way more dangerous than it actually was. Correct me if I'm wrong. In the normal circumstances, I understand why it is a serious fault. But sometimes common sense has to prevail! He shouldve said that is why he used the middle lane

How come stopping behind the lorry would be a serious since he quickly realised and moved on? As long as he didn’t pull over dangerously it’s not really affecting other traffic, since they’d have had to move out to overtake the lorry anyway

I’m starting to believe that all of these videos - at least most of them - are staged just in order to instill fear and lack of confidence in a potential learner. I have missed my practical exam recently due to circumstances beyond my control, however I don’t regret about it especially every time I encounter these kind of videos 😅 and the first thought comes to my head - anyway, you’re not ready yet and you’re far from being so 😭

I find this test absolutely baffling and un understandable. 8:55 goes from the outside lane and cuts into the inside lane when exiting should have been a fault. 9:10 crosses the lines and goes left... its too late.. he should have just continued straight and go around the roundabout to head towards where he wants to go. 13:41 should have at least a minimum have been a minor fault. the nissan van had to change his course because Joe drives too far forward. I would have definitely have gotten faults for those my test if my instructor was stricter
