One thing is actually pretty funny about the treaty of versailles. The german delegation was supposed to sign the treaty with special made pencils that were made in africa and alsace lorraine. One of the german delegates just straight up brought his own pencil and the other one took the first and cheapest one he found in the hotel. Everything in versailles was more like a theater to humilate the losers. It was a peacedeal that didn't look to far in the future. Thats also why Uncle Adolf planned his humilation of france also like a theather in Compiegne. You could say Versailles is the reason for Communist china/ Vietnam and even why arabia is such a mess today
