When I was hunting this season I tried not to alert the birds (this is very difficult). If one took off alerting the whole forest, I'd consider it as being "spotted".
Awesome. I always try not to throw bird alarms when hunting too. And also agree, when you are moving, it can be tough. The deer are definitely listening to the birds though!
