Family can indeed be the hardest people to forgive 😭 I was saved 3 years ago & still struggle with being quick to forgive my unsaved family members when they offend me. This is exactly what I needed to hear this morning 🥹💕 God bless you Pastor John!

So thankful for this exhortation from Pastor John in answering such prevalent question. There is indeed freedom in forgiving just as the Lord forgave us and set us free of condemnation. The Word of God is true. Praise God.

I find it very liberating to understand why our family hurts us so much. That, say, our parents, are so big, and amazing for such a long time. To find that they aren't is a betrayal. When they hurt you. Because it's not easy to understand that they are simply, another person. No better than you. The next thing we have to understand, which in my case, is much harder, is that they are certainly, no worse. That we are all bad. That we have no right not to forgive, for we are in the same boat. And to attempt a fight to throw a man off of a boat, that exceeds capacity, may cause a tip over. It may not, but it certainly will not help, and puts yourself, and others at risk. Wasteful, not to forgive. Denial of the responsibility you have to stand next to your brother, and try to keep steady. The thing I have trouble with is forgiving myself. I understand not doing so undermines the sacrifice Jesus made for us, but I can't understand how I could be forgiven. But we live in a world of absolutes. God is absolute. So I am forgiven, because He said so. My opinion isn't under consideration. My duty isn't to ensure my safety, it is believe God when He says I am forgiven, and to teach others, and point in His direction. To not forgive myself is an arrogant and selfish behavior, disguised as self criticism. I find it difficult to convey the need for all God is, in all we do. There's no facet of the world that doesn't have contention with the things of God. Thankful for the Bible! Official policy for living on earth.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ. My wife is thinking about divorcing me because i cannot get along with her daughter and other reasons. She cannot talk to me or see me now. This is hard for me because i love her so much. I understand she is also hurt and her daughter too. Please pray that God will fill all of our hearts with forgiveness so we can start new and that we can treat each other like fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I have done wrong and im truly sorry for what pain i have caused. Sunday in church they will be there as well. It would be pure grace if a miracle happens where i can apologize in person to my wife and her daughter. I miss them so much. Thank you

I pray by the power of the Holy Spirit that there would be reconciliation, & healing from the deepest level, as God says in His word, He desires truth in the inward parts, He teaches us wisdom in the inmost place. I pray that all wounds in Jesus Christ name would be healed, and the reconciliation would be much more than you could even imagine. I know in my own life , as I'm waiting long and suffering long, it takes some times a very long time, the waiting is hard. However, press on my brother in Christ,knowing that God says in Ephesians 3:20, He is able to do exceededly abundantly. above all we ask or think according to the power that is at work within us. To Him be the glory through all generations. Amen. I pray that God would continue to intercede even now. Father, please soften and break down the walls of bitterness and anger in this man's wife and her daughter. Thank you Lord as that is according to your word and will. Forgiveness, salvation, restoration. Thank you Jesus🙏❤️🙏❤️💪☝️👑🙌🙏❤️

Just give your stepdaughter a credit card and tell her you want to help her get an apartment nearby so when she gets married or goes back to school or gets a job or all three she can be close to her mom. Just support the girl in living independently without leaving her mom. If you can get a duplex or make an efficiency for her without it being a cage. She has to go out at least twice a week to a fun place.

@bodyofhope
@bodyofhope Год назад
Good news! Yes you can. You can forgive by bringing it to God. Begin the forgiveness and healing process there with the Lord. Bring it all to Him and forgive them with the Lord. Ask for the chains of trauma to be broken, and for healing over the past. It's a process that the Lord can lead you through. Keep going to Him when the past comes up. Forgiveness of the people who wronged you is just one of the pieces. He is faithful to complete this good work in you, and He is just to also do good work in the people who've wronged you.... without you having to be their judge & jury, or control whether or not they change. In time, the Lord may bring up the conversation between you, but have faith that He'll be there in the midst and with you giving you boldness. The Lord has taken me through this miraculous process, of not only forgiveness, but then seeing my abuser with the eyes of compassion and finally the Love of God. God took me back through my own childhood, and then through their childhood. The relationship is renewed, and our family has gone through an incredible restorative healing process that continues. Every family is different. I pray no matter what, that you find safety under the strength of God's wings ❤

We have learnt through very painful trial that forgiveness is always the standard for the genuine Christian but reconciliation is simply not always possible. More specifically, Jesus always put heart-cut dialogue at the centre of genuine reconciliation (Matthew 18 etc.) and if that is obstructed (via the attitude of, “we don’t want to talk about it; we’ve done everything we can; just forgive!”) forgiveness/repentance/reconciliation, as Piper says, is not fully realised. However, a sure sign that you have truly forgiven from your heart, in those horrible instances, is that you are able to pray for the Spirit-led flourishing of those who have hurt you and, to some degree, continue to do so by their obdurate “position”. Grief over the loss associated with relational breakdown (and unresolved impasses) is infinitely better than the hardness of unforgiveness that means you are unable to pray for those you love and miss. Shalom.

I think a deeper level of forgiving is ask that God also forgives them for what they've done to you (or your loved ones). Its too easy to forgive the perpetrator but inwardly think, 'you'll get yours when God punishes you'. Jesus did not do this... He asked that the Father not count it against them. The Father puts our sin 'as far as East is from West'... so should we 🥰

I've forgiven and I pray for my family member. But they haven't repented, they're still abusive, and they've turned most of my family against me. I've cut off contact with this family member because I don't want my kids damaged by them. I also don't want to suffer more abuse. Some in the family have called me a bad Christian for this. But I felt like God guided me in this direction. Could definitely use some advice or relevant Scripture. There has been at least 3 or 4 generations of damage and abuse. I want it to end and give my daughters a clean slate.

Psalm 42: 3 My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God? 4When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday. 5Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.

I am so sorry Jason, you are not alone. I have started looking upon God's humility and patience towards Satan (who was once a heavenly family member). Satan rebelled against God and turned a third of the angels against God. Satan corrupted Adam's mind, Adam was God's artwork made in His own image but see how disrespectful Satan was. God's character is passed on to us. If you believe that you were created in God's image, God is Grace, God is Humility, God is Helper, God is Giver, God is a Teacher. Teachers influence others. Ask God to give you wisdom on how to teach your family members and bring them to repentance as Nathan did to King David. We are all in a transition to better teachers to our own, teach in love and with great patience, selfcontrol and we have to commit to Jesus to be faithful stewards. Abraham was given a secret, that if he did not want to see what was about to befall on Sodom and Gomorrah, He had to take charge of his family, teach his children the way of God. Genesis 18:17-19. We have to help one another because God wants us to be His people and He will be our God. That is the covenant God made with Abraham (Genesis 17:7) and it will come to pass (Revelation 21:3) Hold on Jason, patience is long suffering. God is patient with us because He loves us. Jesus was patient with Simeon the Pharisee who did not give Him water to wash His feet, Simeon disrespected Jesus in his house but Jesus stayed a little longer and later taught him in love with a story. I pray that God gives us wisdom as we deliver Truth to others. We have to remember to be humble. Jesus is winning us with His patience. He does not want to cut the ties which can be undone. It requires patience and selfcontrol to untie difficult knots. I am praying for you to wade in the water with the Holy Spirit. He will teach you everything 1 John 2:27 The storm is raging, stay anchored, stay rooted🌱 on the true Vine and Rock of Ages

John Piper gives a definition of forgiveness as follows: 'Forgiveness is wanting the good, not the ruin, of the one who wronged you, in spite of the wrong, and then acting for their good.' I think this is a good attempt at giving a definition of ONE KIND OF FORGIVENESS. But what we need to realise is that there are different kinds of forgiveness. The kind of forgiveness Piper refers to is something we should do whether or not the person who sinned against us is repentant. But there is another kind of forgiveness that SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN TO THOSE WHO ARE UNREPENTANT. In Luke 17:3-4 Jesus teaches: 'If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and comes back to you seven times, saying, "I repent," you must forgive him.' (CSB) Note in this passage how the forgiveness Jesus refers to is conditional upon repentance. Jesus is clearly implying that if there is no repentance, there should be no forgiveness (of the kind he is referring to). The forgiveness referred to in this passage is essentially about choosing to have an obstacle-free relationship with the person who has sinned, i.e., treating that person as if the thing they did wrong is all forgotten. However, if the person has not repented, we SHOULD NOT forgive in this sense. We shouldn't let the matter go completely until they repent.
@st4699
@st4699 Год назад
The greatest commandment is to Love the Lord with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind and love your neighbor as yourself. Love, according to God's grace, keeps no records of wrong. Which means we always forgive, not through our own abilities, but by the love, strength, and ability of God which He gives to us as believers, which is the Holy Spirit who lives in us.
@linak7155
@linak7155 Год назад
I had not stopped to consider the clause in Luke 17. 'IF' when it comes to forgiving someone who remains unrepentant. The example of a wife forgiving an unfaithful husband as long as there's evidence of a heart change comes to mind. As it were, trust would need to be re established in the marriage. Years ago, I forgave a friend for a serious transgression. In that instance, reconciliation was never possible. Overall, I do realize that as believers, we need to be willing to forgive others if we are to receive God's forgiveness.
@maxaplin4204
@maxaplin4204 Год назад
@@st4699 We always forgive in the sense of giving up bitterness and choosing to love. I agree with that. But my point was that there are different kinds of forgiveness.
@maxaplin4204
@maxaplin4204 Год назад
@@linak7155 If someone remains unrepentant of a serious sin that has caused a lot of hurt, I would say that it is actually unloving to let the matter drop and forgive that person in the sense that Jesus is referring to in Luke 17:3-4. Any child of God will repent of their sins. So if the person is unrepentant, that is a sign that they are not forgiven by God. It is therefore loving to remind them of that fact and not to treat them as if the matter is all forgotten about. I am sure you are right that situations like this will sometimes occur in marriages. And as you note, sometimes reconciliation isn't possible when there is no repentance.

After decades, growing up with my father on meth or always in prison who made babies with 4 different women like my mother who just wanted fun and pleasure, while their parents had parents that had their own Christian ministry, And my mother married an abusive man from the military, While she would just stay all night and day at home doing nothing with her life, but consume drugs, scream, Smash things, abuse her children, etc. The police knew, they admitted to me it's illegal but said "i know it's illegal what your parents are doing. And i don't care!" Then spit on the ground and drove off. My parents kept me illegally out of schools. Police didn't care. Neither did all my other relatives who knew. I began to hear demons offering to help me, and they made it clear God wasn't trying to help me but they would, and they would give me power to defend myself against my abusive parents, and they did. Then my parents became too afraid to assault me anymore, As i started creating wounds all over my body and drinking my own blood, painting their walls with it, overwhelmed with hatred for God knowing He knew all this, and he's just sitting there- watching my life like its a BDSM porno. I began to spend almost all day and night outside alone most of my childhood, especially in my teenage years. No internet, no tv, no games, no friends no human teaching me anything- and i mean teaching me absolutely nothing, but the demons would teach me many things. Yet though there was much truth, i was seeing everything the wrong way. The demons told me i could sell my soul to Satan in return for fame or riches, even more power, but i hated what i had become. All i wanted was a purpose in life since i was 4, and i found nothing but despair, torment, misery, abuse, hate, etc. I look around the world when i traveled far for miles and miles just to see what society was like, and all i saw was sin when i thought only my family could be so evil. So i turned down Satan's offer. I hated and blamed God and refused to accept to just deal with it a live another day. I began to read the Bible and saw God's hate for me, such as Psalm 5;5 that God hates evildoers. Clearly i knew i was pure evil. I did much evil intentionally. I knew God hated me and had wrath in store for what i deserved. I didn't want to be an unfair cause that would be for Christ to suffer for a piece of evil crap such as myself. Then i would have rather suffered unimaginably for eternity for what i deserve, and let God give me what i deserve instead of doing what is unfair to His Son who doesn't deserve it. I screamed at God when i was 16 and attempted suicide. I ended up in the hospital, not just once, but multiple times. God began to actually communicate to me that He isn't going to let me die, and all of that going on wasn't for nothing. I still hated God enough to keep attempting suicide, and after all experiences no one would have logically survived, God got my attention because clearly i cannot stop Him from breaking or overcoming the laws of logic to keep me alive. He helped me find a Bible, I read it for 2 years before Christ saved me. He casted out the demons that possessed me. I went homeless soon after from my parents always telling me since i was 8 years old that they can't wait till i would turn 18 so they can legally hit me and throw me out homeless, and 10 years later when i became a legal adult, they did just that and police gladly left me out in the boonies after they made a restraint order. I had no education, a disability, unhealthy from my parents only buying ramen noodles and cereal for me to eat throughout my entire childhood, I had no skills, barely could communicate to any human for the first few years being an adult, and i went chapel to chapel but all pastors kicked me out being too scared of me or offended to hear the truth in God's word. I was found hated by every Christian pastor, preacher, and most who just attend, and very few took the time to speak to me to make sense of why I'm so different, but most just assumed awful things about me with no evidence because i was just drastically different how i walk, talk, think, write in symbols, etc. I was stuck in homelessness, unable to barely get a job and even harder to keep one from people either firing me because i kept having seizures because it was too dangerous yet was always denied disability in court, I couldn't drive so my options were limited, I had no skills or experience so many simply wouldn't hire me, And i remained homeless for years as a Christian with no friends but only met people who claim to be Christians who would hate me. I still remain after a decade of Christ saving me as nothing but trash in this world. God used me through my homelessness to help other homeless ones and share the gospel with others who would listen. Most the time, unbelievers were the ones to help me find ways to eat, to drink, where to sleep, give me a place temporarily to stay, help give me rides to jobs when i had them, etc. But Christians, no. They still despise me and hate me, especially those at calvary chapel, yet somehow they're my family in Christ. Even after all this, my mother and father say I'm to blame. No regrets. She said she should've aborted me, i wish she would have, then Christ could've been spared from the punishment that at least i deserve even if He suffered for others, And i would've never sinned in eternity! But no! I was forced to have this life! I was forced to be sin! I am God's garbage. He just leaves me here, like an empty can that rolls across the street then gets run over. He just wants to see me roll back and forth, somehow that's so glorious to Him. So be it. It's up to Him what He'll do with me. I don't want anything. I never asked anyone in this world for anything. I've always waited for offers. Because I've always wanted to die sooner the moment i even realized I'm a human being at 3 years old. Because all i have ever seen is this world being a meaningless life for a God to get what He doesn't need for something He wants that requires me to be this evil being that's less valuable than the dung below the flies! Praise Jesus that i get to go to a place i don't deserve! That He suffered unfairly so i can get away with crimes i never wanted to get away with! To give me a life I've always hated! To know I'm just a legit bastard that was one someone who only ever thought all day and night about how much he hated God but realized in the end, there's no denial i am an evil sinner and deserve God's Wrath! If this is God's plan, then so be it. Nothing is impossible for Him after all! But my family appears that they'll never regret what they did. If they never did what they did just for some fun and pleasure they quickly lost after they had just begun and it's been nearly 3 decades since then, and i don't believe i would've ever become what i did if i was put into nearly any other woman's body in this world than hers. She got away with crimes that even judges, counselors and police yell me they've never heard anyone do or get away with in history. They were right. What I've said here barely scratches the surface of what happened. I see in the Bible, God's willing to forgive, but the majority of humans will still end up in hell. So clearly God either doesn't forgive everyone, or only does the few who are saved by Him. Which to be saved requires repentance, to be born again, by grace through faith in Christ. Therfore, are we to forgive unlike God does? Am i commanded to forgive others when they're not repenting, not sorry but rather proud of what they did? God was not willing to forgive me that way. Therfore wouldn't i be even more gracious and good to be willing to go beyond the way God even is willing to forgive others?

I can’t imagine the horrors you’ve lived and seen in your life, from adolescence until now. There are many things you’ve missed out on and experienced that you shouldn’t have. I am deeply sorry for these things, and I don’t want you to feel like you’re alone or that there is nobody who cares or will care for/about you. The Christian World isn’t perfect, as it’s made up of people who are not perfect. You’ve seen in the world and in the church that there’s sin. But in the church there’s hope, and in the church there’s opportunity to be an example to those who profess faith. While you may not have been adequately provided for in almost any sense of the word growing up, you’ve said yourself you’ve been able to help those who are in need. That’s a great thing, no matter who you are that’s a great thing to do. Those that you’ve helped didn’t sin against you, but they’ve sinned against God. Yet despite that you helped them. God, who is merciful, allowed those who sin against Him to be helped and provided for-to be genuinely cared for. God doesn’t forgive everybody, but He’s willing to, He desires us to forgive because He forgave us. Along with that, we don’t do things justly. He knows the entirety of every person’s life, actions, words, and thoughts. And handles them justly according to them. I know you watched the video, but the last part is very important I think. Trust that your forgiveness is not in vain. The root of our forgiveness is God’s forgiveness towards us. Jesus Christ. If others obtain that same forgiveness it is better not to hold their sins against them. If they don’t come to God then their sin is punished more justly than we ever could do. And if they do come to Him, that same root of forgiveness is now their’s. We should rejoice! But it’s without doubt, not as easy as it sounds. So in some sense we are in a position to forgive, that God isn’t in. Because God doesn’t owe forgiveness to anybody, but we owe it to God to forgive others. What God has is patience and requires us to have patience. As we have patience we decide to let justice be served by God, not ourselves. We don’t ignore the need for justice, but acknowledge when and where it’s served. On the Cross, or in Hell. And we should despite how hard it is, pray for those who do not know Jesus, not neglecting praying those who have wronged us. I pray the Lord will bring humility to those around you, as well as a pure persistence in humility for you to find members of the body who will care about you, or change the members of the body who are around you. Blessings

You are not alone. Jacob was a trickster, born in a family of tricksters. At one point, parents or their children, we all wrestle with God. Jacob wrestled with God and did not give up. After God had exhausted him, He blessed him and marked him. Jacob limped the rest of his life but his mind had been renewed. He worshipped God the rest of His life. Look to Jesus and live, and after absorbing His glory, you will reflect Jesus' glory to all including your parents, and the people at Chapel... not for self but for the glory of God Jesus is daily cleansing us Ephesians 5:27. Jesus faced rejection, disrespect but he remembers to be kind, to wash feet of others. You are not alone, I am here learning from Jesus. Some of us enter parenthood without knowledge and we are learning on job. I am glad you will do better than your parents because you have gone through a great experience. I pledged not to repeat my parents mistakes. I am reading the word of God to give me a foundation for my life. I do not want to blame my parents, I know how to read, I can get a Bible as my first library and go through the scriptures they are full of wisdom. I leave with you: Isaiah 57:15The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this: “I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts. God is restoring you, God is restoring me. Let us sit at His feet and be still while He communes with us. He is the answer to all our questions. If He answered Job by reasoning with Him. He has all your answers. Attach to Him as a tapeworm attached to its source of life. He will satisfy our hungering and thirsting for righteousness. We are super blessed that we are online giving the glory to God. It is the living who can do that. We are using His breath❤. We did not ask for the breath but He gave to us knowing that we are of purpose to Him and to those around us. Thank you so much for your testimony. I thank God for your life that you have been able to express yourself in writing. There are so many people who cannot express themselves and thus cannot get help in time but you are blessed. May the Holy Spirit guide, teach and cheer you and do so with your parents. 1 John 2:27. We, parents make mistakes my parents made mistakes, but I am learning as a young parent, to be humble and to have a teachable spirit. I am a parent to my children but I am a child to my parents and to our heavenly Father, God. In heaven we will all be children of God, no mother, no uncle, no Jew no gentile. When the Spirit of God is poured out or when Elijah comes, children will be drawn back their parents and vice versa Malachi 4:4-6 Remember ye the Law of Moses, My servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. 5 “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. 6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” I think you are in the transfiguration process🎉 Elijah has come to you Be strengthened, be of good courage 2 chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him Let us keep each other in prayer, always basking in the glory of God for His glory

John Piper is right that forgiving someone doesn't necessarily mean trusting them. We should trust people according to how trustworthy we think they are. If we think that someone is untrustworthy, there is nothing wrong in not trusting them. In fact, if we think someone is untrustworthy, we would actually be wrong to trust them. Some Christians think that the phrase in 1 Cor 13:7 - '[Love] . . . believes all things' - is about trusting people, but it isn't about that. It seems to be about believing God and his promises.

I started living in a place where people lock their bicycles but before, I had not practiced locking bicycles. When one parent asked me why I do not lock my bike, I told her that trust begets trust and that I would like to invest trust in another person and in case someone took my bike, I would know that he liked it more that I did and that he is hungering and thirsting for something. Yes love believes in all things. Give someone a benefit of the doubt to help society, to heal people from their hungering, you benefit too. God loves a cheerful giver

@@MsGratefulgal My point in my original comment was about trusting people in the here and now, about coming to a conclusion on whether they are or aren't reliable. In the world there are many trustworthy and many untrustworthy people, and to decide that a person is trustworthy without evidence is just naive. You not locking your bike isn't really about trusting people as they are here and now. What you are really trying to do is make people become trustworthy in the future. I think your goal is admirable. After all, Jesus tells us to do good even to our enemies (e.g., Luke 6:27). So I wouldn't want to say that your idea about not locking your bike is necessarily a bad one. I think not locking a bike might sometimes be the right thing to do. But my original comment was really about a different matter, about coming to a conclusion about whether a person is or isn't reliable. And it would be a mistake to come to a conclusion that a person is reliable without evidence. And 1 Cor 13:7 is certainly not telling us to do this. I think, in any case, that this verse is probably about trusting God anyway.

@@maxaplin4204it is like training, some one may make another mistake but you keep trying to give them a chance and asking God to give you wisdom on how to handle each kind of forgiveness. Some take long. Sometimes the other person dies. Would you say good riddance? God helps his people to forgive others, even when the 'others' are dead. Take a look at the story that Jesus told Simeon the Pharisee about the two debtors. Jesus can teach us His way. Whoever loses His life for Christ's sake, will find it. You are the sober one who knows Christ in this case. Obey His commandments. He is teaching us to pray and to forgive is an aspect He indicated

Healing is a process. Some men are overpowered by lust. Selfcontrol is a fruit of the Spirit. That family member lacked selfcontrol/self discipline. Some people are obsessed with others for example Amnon was obsessed with Tamar, the sister. Tamar sought to resolve the issue but the brother grew so much hatred for her. So, women, girls, children and men and boys, we all have to learn about each other and be able to protect one another. Many people do not know God and thus do not respect Him, they do not respect others and they do not respect themselves., If we have known God, we need to pray for the family members at home, at school at church, in our communities to know God. Once they get to know God or they find Wisdom(Jesus), they will bear the fruits of the Spirit in which selfcontrol/self discipline is crucial to both. Jesus on the cross prayed Luke 23:34 "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Find a book: Beauty for ashes: Biblical help for the sexually abused by John Coblentz Awareness on our differences is important Sex Is Not the Problem (Lust Is): Sexual Purity in a Lust-Saturated World Book by Joshua Harris Healing is a process🌱. Jesus heals us in amazing ways while teaching us great principles of life (like love unconditional, patience, gentleness, goodness-tit for tat is not a fair game, we shall all become blind if we pull out each other's eyes) ... And in His time God makes all things new. Healing causes renewing of the mind🎉 Isaiah 57:15 15 The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this: “I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts. May God bring healing to both family members. And thank you for wanting to help. Both need help, be able to help both for a better society

What about adultery? My husband committed adultery with may women for years. I caught him once then he confessed to many others. I ended up forgiving him after almost 2 years of anger and sadness. Then we renewed our vows and had a child. Then he lied to me. Then he lied to me again and again. Then he was looking at porn. Then he lied to me. Then he tried to join a dating service. I'm able to forgive him but I can not forget any of it. I still hurt over it. I still get angry. Does that mean I haven't forgiven him? What am I to do? I will not leave and break up my family. I can not do that to our child.

Have a morning routine like Jesus had Mark 1:35 Ask for daily patience, daily grace, daily selfcontrol, daily wisdom, daily forgiveness Matthew 6:9-13 Keep friends around you, we are dependant on one another and on Jesus for all kind of support. Jesus had the 12 friends for support. He asked the three to pray for Him while in Gethsemane. You need friends and strangers to help you out and you need Jesus to help and show you the way. Lean on me, when you're not strong (by Bill Withers) Lean on Jesus, He also needs us. Know you patient, the older we become, the frustrations weigh heavy on us. Sickness frustrates, depresses but may God give you enough kindness for the day towards your mom. Hopefully some days you can go out and breathe. Take time to go for refreshing and come back to your mom when you are supercharged. Jesus would go to a secret place in the early mornings to be recharged by His Father. By the time the disciples came to Him, His cup was already full of the fruits of the Spirit. And He would jump up and say to them: Let's go🎉😊 Bear patiently🙏 with you mother. Would you leave her to sink deeper in the miry clay? Help her please. You are the healthiest in the equation and try to be a thermostat to control the temperature in the room. You are the shock absorber😊, catch every missile thrown at you with grace and kindness. Practice makes a better you😅

Once the seed sprouts it turns into a young plant. It would require God to destroy the corrupted mankind. But God delights in mankind Proverbs 8:31. His son Jesus is the Wisdom/Craftsman in making man. A loving parent protects, respects and connects with their child. God is Love. He is glad when his prodigal son who carries his image, comes home. Nicodemus was told to be born again, because we are born with a corrupted mind. God had not intended that we become corrupted. It was Setan's idea to win mankind to his side as he had done with the angels in heaven. A third of the angels fell with him. But they are given a chance to repent and acknowledge the Creator Forgiveness is enduring others. God is patiently bearing Satan and humanity. He wants us to be born again. Satan planted corruption in creatures which he did not create. God is bearing Satan and he is bearing mankind
