I so relate to this. We're filming today - a. huge snow day in Durango, CO. We wanted to go skiing and film, but we really had to plow and shovel. Not a lot of conflict, but after watching some of your other videos we decided, "if Jake can make drinking a beer look cool, we should make shoveling and plowing our road on a beautiful snowy day look cool". Thanks! (I have no idea how the video will turn out - but I sure have some cool footage.)

So true! This made me remember a 3-day mountain bike & camping trip I was on 3 years ago where I became plagued (and nearly stranded in the wilderness) due to flat tires. I was creating a docu-vlog about the entire trip and became somewhat worried on the 3rd day when I was hit with the flats. But at the time I kept telling myself to keep the camera rolling through it all and how the situation would add some "great drama" etc to the overall experience and story - which it most certainly did.

I like how he's trying to put out his talent, do the things he love and give other people more inspiration and has a message too. You are awesome Jake Frew..

I love how you put this into a small story. Any other film making would have tried to make it strength another 10 minutes but this message was delivered perfectly. 🙏🏼

Would have been a lot easier driving backwards onto the road. Trust I have a Camaro living in the Chicago area. Turn that rear wheel drive into front wheel drive. Driving in reverse until I’m unstuck. Doesn’t happen often but when it does. It gets me right out. Dope video

Nice one Jake! I haven't watched one of your video recently and you have definitely improved on cinematography, editing, and overall presentation. Nice work! I've found the same thing the last couple of years about getting out of my comfort zone. For me the next big thing to push me out of my comfort zone is pushing limits in running. I signed up and ran my first 50 mile race in July and I earned a spot in the leadville trail 100. I had 3 days to decide and am in for the 2020 race. I'm still nervous, excited, and look to explore the unknown and pushing limits both in the upcoming months of training and the race. Hope all is well buddy!

Here is my story: One day I was solo traveling in Colorado. I was driving 10 mph up switch backs on a mountain. The road was big enough for one car and very very carefully 2 cars. Look over to the side and it's just a terrifying drop off. I remember how beautiful it was while stomach turning. My drive was suppose to be 40 minutes up this mountain to get to where I wanted to take pictures. I had no phone service and in my tiny ford car all alone. All the sudden my car started over heating🤦‍♀️. I was in the middle between the top and the bottom of the mountain. My car couldnt handle it. And I was terrified. I had to sit and wait for it to cool down a bit and then sooooooo carefully turn my car around inch at a time to go back down the mountain. The edge of the cliff was just inches from my car as I was trying to turn around. Just thinking of it now makes my stomach hurt.
