Thank you, Chris for having Kim Zembar on your show. I thank Kim for sharing her story.

This video brought me to tears multiple times. As someone who experiences SSA, Kim's story is EXACTLY what I needed to hear. Sometimes I feel like the only Catholic I know that is both honest about my sexual attractions, yet still seeks to live chastely trusting that God has greater plans for me. This interview filled me with hope that I am not alone! God bless Kim, God bless Chris, God bless the message of this show, and pray for me, too!!

i remember confirmation our teacher had an anonymous box that we’d write questions inside. one came up about ssa and living in those ways. the answer was loving but very much rooted in catholic catechism and more chastisement. i just feel if this was talked about more, the answer would have kept that anonymous person in the faith. this is a great interview. thank you.

Around 18:52 Kim says what would have been helpful for her & what the church could have gave her at that time to help her shift… she mentions that the church should have let her know that “if you feel those feelings we are here for you.” Yessssss, Kim!!! I agree 1000%. That is my issue with some people in the church is that we are quick to say “homosexuality is a sin.” “You’re going to hell.” Ok but let us also say but “Let me walk with you through your struggles.” Let us not be indifferent to each other. Christ walked & ate with sinners & let us try to do the same.

Finally, let the fresh air in! What an absolutely grace-filled conversation. Chris and Kim are both totally raw and honest throughout and made bold by the Holy Spirit! Thank you, Kim for your closing prayer! May God bless and keep you always. HE IS the TRUTH the WAY and the LIFE.

I never get tired of hearing her story. I've listened to her tell pretty much the same story several times now, and every time it's so profound to hear. One day I will share these stories with my brother who has lost his faith and is living a homosexual lifestyle. First I'd like to grow more in my understanding of scripture, doctrine, as well as delve into John Paul II's Theology of the Body.

The rosary is helpful for everyone in every situation. Meditation on Christ's life brings us closer to Him & aids in communication with God. I pray rosaries for all the ppl in my life where I need help with that relationship 🙏 💯 percent good & Holy to be humble, to take time to be quiet & to ask God for blessings

That was one of the most powerful and honest videos I have watched regarding the issues of our church on so many levels not just the same sex issues!!! I will do my part to share with many. Kim, need some material for those of us surrounded by family and friends in this like style. How do we love yet not condone, love not celebrate. How does that look. How do we share truth in love? I hear you say focus on the soul. Get them to Jesus and see them saved. We need words, wisdom, anything to walk in truth and help us know how to hone in on the good.

Thank you both for a wonderful testimony. Kim, your life is a radiant example of Jesus' love and calling. He doesn't call the equipped, but rather equips the called! Your story, your truth, can help so many people. But it can also help so many of us who have friends and family who we love and pray for. Kim you said something woke in me I try to be God over my life instead of letting God be controlling my life.

Romans says it all, especially Romans 8:13... and of course to seek the strength in the Lord Love is NOT physical, it is emotional. We do Not need a body to love... And I commend Kim for her strength in our Lord No matter what the attraction is. If it isn't physical, it is only in the mind.?? Meaning that the mind is tugging over the soul. The soul knows better, hence the Holy Spirit within us... not the mind... And anyone can put thoughts in our minds; if we are not careful and don't keep to the Sacraments... Anyone/anything! As a matter of fact, a faithful, devout can be attacked by the enemy in this way as well. And then, it becomes a repulsion. 🙏✝🩸📿 And that is victory! 🙏🌹😘 We have to fight every single day to keep with the faith and denounce this world... EVERY SINGLE DAY!

What a beautiful incredible testimony of God as Father from someone who communed with Christ so beautifully in her deep suffering. I think of Jesus in Gethsamane sweating blood in that feeling of anguish she experienced. Pray for humility in me that I may relay Gods love and walk with people while never boasting that I may know any superior knowledge than the Church. That they may through me have an invitation to Gods fullness. Pray that I accept this call and bring others and my own souls to heaven. Hail Mary, intercede for me and the whole world . God smite my pride and protect my heart from cowardice, give me those graces to act according to your will. Help guide me always. I know you are good and powerful and can do all things. Encourage my heart! In the name of Jesus I reject cowardice.

WOW. What a powerful discussion. I think Kims struggles are going to transform so many lives where faith is being tested for a whole spectrum of reasons. These two are warriors for God.

2 Cor. 4:7, "However, we hold this treasure in earthen vessels so that it may be clear that this immense power belongs to God and does not derive from us."

So much good here beyond just the same sex attraction issue. Of how to live with and be with people, with each other, with our brothers and sisters in Christ. Praise God for Kim and the power of her life.

40:26 Key moment in this talk. Her girlfriend was surprised that she said she wasn’t gay. Yes she had same sex attraction but that attraction did not define her.

I was also transformed through Christ. The book by Mario Bergner “Setting Love in Order”. I think he was helped by the work of Leanne Payne “The Broken Image” “”The Healing of the Homosexual” … many would frown on these works but for me it healed my same sex neurosis.

I was actually at the prison retreat when Kim shared her testimony. I was concerned how the women in white would receive her testimony since like Kim said, many of them are living that lifestyle. I can attest that she truly touched the hearts of many of the women there.

Blessings in The Divine Will ❤️🕊✝️ I haven't been able to sleep much throughout the night! I had so many thoughts good and bad running at 100 miles per hours through my mind...it was a bit annoying BUT I eventually got around 2-3 hours of sleep at least, thank God! I've been awake since 4:50 this morning and just couldn't go back to sleep anymore. My husband left to work around 5:15-5:20 this morning and I stayed up. I knew I was not going to be able to sleep any longer! So I laid down on the couch a bit after my husband left to work and a thought came to my mind "Why not see what you can watch on RU-vid? Let's see what God has for you. Maybe you will cross paths with a message from God!" And so I did... and the first RU-vid video that I see right when I got on RU-vid... was this BEAUTIFUL AND POWERFUL testimony!!! I knew and felt that it was going to be a very special and heart and soul touched testimony...message from our Lord God Almighty, our Heavenly Father!!! I couldn't stop crying throughout the entire blessed testimony! And all for the Greater Honor and Glory of God and the salvation of souls! My youngest daughter/child, age 18, was sexually abused by 2 older girls in the girls restroom when she was in elementary school at around 5-6 years of age! She didn't share that with me until AFTER she had watched the movie "Sound of Freedom" with me and her father a few months ago. I knew something was not right! I knew that something probably had happened to her (hoping that I was wrong) because she was a bit different and was more of a "Tom boy" and didn't like to play with the girls as much as she liked to play with the boys as a kid...she liked to hang out more wth her brother and boy cousins. And I personally regret allowing her to most of the times! But at that time my mind set was much different then than now!!! I was so far from God compared to my spiritual life now! Anyways, my 18 year old daughter has had same sex attraction for a little while now. I have had conversations wth her about it...I have been VERY CLEAR in the fact that I will always love her BUT NOT her sin! And that I will never accept or be part of that sin she's struggling with...that confusion! I've asked her for forgiveness in the past for not being that protective and true loving and caring mother that I was suppose to be with her and her siblings while theywere growing up because I was in my own world...I was selfish and prideful! Etc... But I do try my best wth the help of my Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth and the help of Mama Mary to love and care for my children more profoundly... and I always tell them I love them and that I'm here for them when they need someone to talk to not be afraid to open up with me... that I will always be their mother first before a friend! I remind them that Jesus Loves them more then what they can imagine! That God loves them but not their sin...and that He will forgive them of their sins if they come to repentance! That without Him we can not do it alone! That we need His help! Etc. I've told her that those thoughts/feelings do not come from God because God is a Perfect Loving God and He is not a God of confusion! I have watch some of Father Chad Ripperger's RU-vid videos talking about the percentage (50%) of people he's liberated demons from... that is the cause of these confused thoughts/feelings MOST of the time...through sexual abuse and/or rape. Even in innocent children...the spirit of confusion attaches to their lives, in other words! I do pray for my children always. I try to still pray the Rosary everyday and now I pray the Rosary with my husband. I've prayed Novenas, visit our Lord Jesus at the chapel frequently...Mass, receive the Eucaristia, etc. I offer up all that I do and my sufferings in the name of Jesus for my children as well. I'm constantly asking Mama Mary for her Great Intercesion for each of my children as well. And St. Joseph's. And their Guardian Angels... I pray for God's Loving Graceful Mercy upon each one of my children also! Especially those in need of His Most Divine Mercy!!! Amen! I do hold on to Hope! I believe that our Lord God will take my children out of Misery/Sin just how He did it wth my husband and I. "Jesus En Voz Confio" "Jesus I Trust in You" Thank you SO MUCH my beautiful sister in Christ Jesus of Nazareth for sharing your Amazing and POWERFUL testimony with us! And thank you brother for doing God's works/mission here on earth for His Greater Honor and Glory and for the salvation of souls! Amen! I Praise God for Putting this testimony in my life! Thank you Jesus!!! Count on my prayers always!!! For each one of you and your families! Amen! And please, pray for me and my family as well...God bless you all in The Divine Will! Amen! AMEN! ❤😊 My brother was shot and killed by a police officer on March 6,2013. 🕯🙏💖 It had to take my brother's blood to come back to Jesus Christ, as much as it hurt me and as much as I miss him... but I Praise and Glorify the Lord...I no longer blame God! Because God is NOT to blame for our wrong decisions we make in life! I do ask for my brother's Intercesion for my family and I etc. To pray to Jesus for us! Amen! I'm thankful and grateful and proud to be Catholic Christian!!! ❤❤❤

Shared with many today - I LOVE the spoken truth. This IS the spoken truth, like I have not heard it yet. Thank you Kim for your boldness - I can hear Jesus is living in you, by your beautiful words. Thank you Chris for addressing a highly divisive issue, in a calm, wise, loving manner, but with a hard truth, that all good fathers must, must communicate and face (if they love SOULS). This woman is a great soul. What they call in India a Sadhu. She sees light from dark and God has led her out of the darkness and into the light so that she can guide others.🙏🙏 my dear friend Kim, I’m 67 and I was a gay woman lesbian most of my life. My last partner died in 2022 although we weren’t together anymore she was a dear friend and everything you say about gay lifestyle. Everything you talk about about your experiences. It’s so weird. I went through exactly the same. I mean exactly.!! Except of course for some of the details I went to Catholic school but funnily enough I was baptised a protestant it’s a bit complicated but will leave it there. I was a Christian. Just like you in my late teens although I had boyfriends and in my case quite a lot of sexual encounters with men boys et cetera because the 1960s 70s were such a time of so-called free love et cetera. When I was 23 I had my first kiss with a woman my age and I really never went back. I felt safer. I was always a little bit afraid of male power male violence. there was no rationale for that in my background my father was a very kind gentlemanly man there was no violence in my upbringing or my household. But I tell you what I also think affected me was getting involved in feminism. It really made me for a time actually hate men . I swear it did.😢 This was in the late 70s early 80s , Doc Martens ,dungarees, lesbian feminists all the rest of it oh my goodness 😩 But all the time I was involved in all of this politics lesbianism and all the rest of it I always went to church. I always prayed I always made the sign of the cross. My spiritual life was always there somehow and I knew I knew this is not good. I knew I’m selling away my soul. I also got involved in Hindu philosophy. Religion spent a lot of time in India which gave me quite a bit of comfort but they too were very clear. Homosexuality is not good for your spiritual self. It will harm your soul. Now I’m 67 and I’m alone no kids . yeah it would have been nice if I just got married had kids? ,even if I’ve got divorced, et cetera but God has a path for us all . I cried and cried when I listen to so much of your video that’s probably why it’s taking me about three hours to listen to it LOL. You my dear Kim are inspired by God you have the soul of a sadhu. the soul of someone who is sooo close to God. I believe from before now .I know Catholics Protestants don’t believe in past life , that’s okay but it’s what I still do believe in and actually I’m thinking of going to a Catholic priest and see if I if I can work all this out of my system . Because I just want to surrender to Our Lord Jesus Christ and you, my dear are my absolute inspiration. One more thing! When you spoke about going into that women’s prison, I knew those women those types of women .big butch lesbians, it made me laugh but then I was in tears!! Yes. You are so right. I pray to God that the Catholic Church stands by its principles. I was baptised a protestant but I can’t go to that church because it’s become so weak in its principles. it’s not a rock anymore it feels like quicksand. every time I hear of what the protestant church is doing gay marriage, women priest. I feel no no !!this is not good.! There needs to be a clear line? that narrow road Jesus spoke of. There are so many other temptations not just homosexuality! Once again. I really believe you were taken on your journey through all of these different experiences so that you could help others. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏

Beautiful and powerful!! Thank you Chris for putting this important conversation in the forefront. On Sunday’s I typically visit my shut ins to deliver the Eucharist. For some reason God didn’t want that to happen today. I found out why when I came across this video in my email, which I usually take a break from on Sundays. It opened up my eyes and heart to the pain and struggles my sister must have been going thru all these years. Thank you Kim for opening your heart and sharing your story. It sad that we never explain Gay as being an addiction. Like drug addicts and alcoholism who fought every day to stay sober the same is for Gay attration the same as CASUAL SEX THE SAME AS eating disorders . Its like we want to judge but its not right to.

I’ve been attracted to men since I was a little kid. A good portion of my adult life I pretended to be straight, going to church, etc. and was miserable. I don’t believe that living a lie is being Christ like. I agree that we are all sinners BUT my being gay and of itself is no more sinful than me being born tall. Hearing about multiple suicides from young people that have gone through so-called conversion Therapy, never works in the long run from what I have heard, is absolutely hideous. Pope Francis, whom I greatly admire, supports gay people. I will not be donating any more to ‘loving’ false compassion…. I’ll pray for your empathy…. This is why I’m leaving your ministry of ‘loving’ hate….. so awesome?

I’m at a loss for appropriate words, Praise God I stumbled upon this interview. My husband is in the Diaconate Formation Program and knows the importance of this very topic, how important it is to walk with people he will encounter. Praying for Kim, Chris, and conversion of hearts!
