My family is not even Lebanese in Montreal but we make Lebanese food in the summer all the time as it's so delicious, light and full of fresh ingredients! So grateful for this community in Montreal to have brought this to popular culture!

I have a question...no disrespect at all meant..but are you guys scared of Ecoli or Somonilla from eating raw meat ?? I would be scared to eat raw meat. Unless can promise me no Ecoli ect.. Everything else looks delicious and i will have to try :)

All of these foods are as a turk so familiar to me 🙏🏻 Like Meze, Köfte, Bulgur The Syriac influences in Lebanese (Arabic) can't be overseen, especially for someone like me who is studying linguistics So beautiful

The Palestinian and Syrian , Lebanese have the same food 🙄

There are many similarities differences. Western Syrian food is really similar, however eastern Syrian food has many differences. Rice dishes are a lot more common in Palestinian cuisine than in Lebanese cuisine, and there are many dishes that are different.

@@fugcxshjiokyff8611 no this isn’t true. The Levantine cuisine evolved over millennia. Northern Levantine cuisine( Lebanese and western Syrian) is closer to each other than southern Levantine cuisine (Palestinian and western Jordanian). As I already mentioned they all have similarities and are closely related.

ألبا Derived from "قَلبها" It basically means (its heart) but in the context of the video it means (inside of it) which is also a correct usage in many Arabic dialects in the region today.

I am Lebanese and am trying to learn Lebanese, all I can do is speak the language, not read or write. However my speaking is not perfect, and watching you slowly break everything down here, just felt like it fit so right in my head.
