I played football and graduated in 03 I’m from Miami. I knew about Bron but as a TE playing football. I have a friend who boxed and when were maybe 15 he fought a few times in Akron. He told us about Lebron. Then I saw him in a scholastic sports magazine as a hooper. Down here we had a weekend show dedicated to Florida hs athletes but also showcased national athletes and I saw Bron’s highlights and was like whoa…. Then I saw him on ESPN and we knew back then he was destined we hadn’t seen anything like that and it’s wild some of my former teammates remind each other about how we talked about him in the locker room at that time even our coaches asked if we heard about or saw that kid from Ohio.. and till this day it’s still like Whoa how are you still doing this

@@LC-go1uh nah man, he’s old now, you can say that when he was 22 years old. He’s almost 40 and still one of the best players in the league. That’s hard work and dedication. That’s spending millions of dollars on your body each year. That’s going to the gym everyday and practicing harder than the rookies. That’s not something your born with. Think of Shaq. He didn’t put the work in, so he became a 300 pound sack of potatoes who could barely run or jump.
My aunt lives in Cleveland and I remember in The year 2000 , I visited her. Her neighbors kids were around my age and I used to play ball. I’ll never forget , one of the kids were like “yo you should come to our indoor gyms, there’s this kid named Lebron , he’s amazing”. I was born in 1983 btw. 😂
I would’ve been better than Lebron. Just if I was a little bit faster and more athletic. And taller, could jump higher and shoot better. Also better passing and vision and strength. Aside from that I would’ve easily been better
If Ron Artest was lying I promise you Jordan would have his media fanboys come out and refute the story. Even Michael himself would say it's a lie. Ron Artest is definitely not the type to fabricate a story.
Why would Mike refute that Bron was nice at 15 lol he didn’t say he cooked Mike unless you’re stretching it and if it has to be stretched no one cares about it
I think he’s lying about remembering the whole story. EVERYBODY would vividly remember playing with Jordan and Lebron on the same court regardless of how many games you played in your career.

Will never be another LeBron. 40,000+pts, top three all-time in assists. And still playing some of the best basketball in the league at 39. Never be another like him. G.O.A.T.
If Doncic stays healthy he will be above 40.000. And you will see how many players of this era will be in the top 10 scoring. Check scoring per possession.
15 and could be in the league playing grown men is a statement in its self. I was watching his highlights at like 16 and 17 as was amazed how fast and agile he was.
It's LAUGHABLE..... Here you have a former pro who was in his own right... a " man child" ( Artest) physically, testify " 100%" that Bron could've played in the league @ 15. Still...the detractors swear it's " a lie " . Lol....the emotional energy it must take to be so spiteful. 👑

He said he was 15 or 16. I don’t doubt it, but we don’t really know what age he was from this clip. He could’ve maybe even been 17. Edit: Looked it up. He was 16. This pickup game happened in 2001. LeBron was born in late December of 1984. So he was 16 and about to turn 17 in a few months.
Everyone arguing about MJ vs Lebron but the craziest part is Ron only being 5 years older than Lebron. Ron was at the tail end of his prime in Kobe's last championship run, and Lebron has played in 8 finals since then!
Ron not nearly as talent, was taking the most gruesome jobs that were defending on the 2000 was crazy physical and definitely not spending dollars on the best food, recovery treatment and top notch peds
I measure players importance on a team when they leave a team.Cleveland went from the top of the east to last place when LBJ left both times and Miami with Wade and Bosh didn't make the playoffs the yr after he left. The Bull still won 53 games(2 less wins) and was a bad call from ECF when Jordan left.

The GOAT at losing in the finals you mean. How can you lose 6 times in the finals and be anywhere close to being in the GOAT discussion. Just stop the nonsense. The facts are simple. A lot of nba legends have stories like this, even KG was cooking nba players around 15-16 I wouldn’t say that makes him one of one. What really makes him one of one is something like his all time scoring record in the nba lmao.
Yeah, he remember, he just don't want that call from Jordan. Remember when Pippen got that call from Jordan for saying LeBron is better???? Must've taken him to puffy house or something
That's where hater fans need to give lebron credit. Nobody has ever come into the nba with so much expectations. Since he was 13 we were told he's the next jordan. And lived up to it.
Well kinda. If he didn't jump between multiple teams with players who were already all stars, we could play he lived up to it. He's a supeteam GOAT. @kevinorellanaable you're delusional. Wade and Bosh were ranked top 5 with Lebron 4 years in a row. 3 of those years was when they played in Miami together. Nice try though
So at 15 he was giving nba players a problem and he gotten better since then really makes me think why is so hard for these players to say he's the goat I think their ego won't except a person younger than them as the goat
