This is obviously his best 3. Miami Heat’s Dwade was only still “Dwade” for the first year and maybe 2nd, but from then on that was just name brand mixed in with injuries. Bosh was great, he just had to sacrifice shots. If uk ball uk Bosh was prolly the best 3rd option of all-time in terms of just going underrated but making winning plays. Cleveland K-love was just not the same. His game didn’t really fit with ball dominant Lebron and Kyrie. So even if you wanna say Kyrie as good as AD or first year Dwade(which he isn’t). You still gotta take the Lakers over Cavs just b/c of the third option. Btw lowkey Russ a clutch shooter, think about how bad of a 3 pt shooter he is regularly and then think about how many buzzers or big time 3’s late game he’s hit. Even for his misses it’s still gotta be at a better clip then his regular long distance shots

Russ never thought he was the 1st option with KD. 6 of there 8 seasons together KD led the team in shots. Both of the seasons Russ led the team KD was injured. When PG & Melo came to HIS team after he won MVP he sacrificed shots. In his 2nd season with PG he took a backseat to PG on HIS team. Houston, he took a backseat to Harden. Why does Skip think he’s gonna come to LA and take over?

I'm pretty sure westbrook led in shots three years but I might be wrong. You are missing the point. For the first 3 or so seasons Westbrook was a young guy still improving and earning his reputation. As soon as he entered his prime he started shooting basically as much or more than KD. He also was starting to completely controlled when KD shot or touched the ball. I don't care what people say. A career 42% shooter from the field and 32% from three should never even be close to the amount of shots KD takes. KD take very few shots for the level of scorer he is but westbrook should not have shot 22 times a game or even 20 as long as KD was there

There are 2 main things to consider. 1.) Russ wants a title on his resume. He has all the individual accolades you can have. After 13 seasons, he has seen the results of what he does and he knows that won't get him a title in LA. 2.) Lebron is a masterful leader. He will show Russ that he can still get great stats while playing winning basketball. Russ has never had a teammate who could show him that. I also think we will see Russ work a bit harder on the defensive end. He wants a title. Russ will make some adjustments to his game.

As an OKC fan i dont like the media re writing of history from the KD and Russ era in OKC. Especially about Westbrook. They got on, they were very successful as a young team and they played well together. Russ didnt take his shots away, KD used to take over in spurts and go really quiet for parts of the game. OKC developed talent then let them leave due to being cheap. KD broke his foot and they lost a season, Pat Bev took out Russ knee in the playoffs, they lost that season and the next due to surgery. They were finally healthy that last season and got beat by the 73 win GSW, and KD left for the easier path..

It's very interesting everyone thinks it won't work. What alot of people fail to realize, very similar to the Nets is they have the best player on the team. Russ deferring to Bron and AD (both better players) is a great thing and overlooked. He is not deferring to PG, Harden, KD, or Beal, dude is deferring to Bron, which in turn is going to be there to make the better play. There will rarely be situations where passing to AD or Bron is bad.. which is why I see it working. Also who is going to Double Russ, Bron, and AD its about to be a showdown.
